What does the Ella's Bubbles Lifetime Limited Warranty cover?

Your Ella's Bubbles walk-in bath is protected by a Lifetime Limited Warranty extended to the first purchaser, covering defects in workmanship and material under normal use and conditions from the date of the original purchase. The bathtub shell, frame, door, door seal, and finish are covered for life, and so is the supporting equipment, including motors, pumps, fixtures, electronic controls, the faucet, waste, overflow, and all plated finishes. The one component with a shorter term is the thermostatic control valve (TCV), which carries a 1-year limited warranty.

What Warranty Service Looks Like

This is a parts warranty. Should service be required for any defect or malfunction, Ella's Bubbles ships the needed part to the original customer's address without charge, subject to verification of the defect or malfunction. Emailed or mailed photos of the defective product and a description of the problem are required for that verification. Delivery time depends on parts availability and your location. The warranty does not cover labor, and Ella's Bubbles is not liable for incidental expenses or material charges in connection with removal or replacement of the product or parts.

The TCV Exception, Explained

The thermostatic control valve has a 1-year limited warranty that does not cover cartridge malfunction caused by water contaminated with calcium, iron, or other heavy particles, which can cause the cartridge to stick. To stay protected, the TCV must be guarded by a filter or mesh in the water lines, cleaned periodically. Ella's Bubbles offers a cartridge cleaning service for a nominal fee covering labor plus shipping, and removal and cleaning of the TCV should only be performed by a licensed and insured contractor or plumber.

Important Boundaries to Know

  • The warranty applies to the original owner at the original installation address and is nontransferable.
  • Display models and products modified or repaired by anyone other than Ella's Bubbles are not covered.
  • The finish warranty does not apply to fading, cracking, delaminating, or blistering due to excessive wear, sun fading, or scouring from cleaning.
  • The door and door seal warranty is valid only when the tub and door alignment is done correctly and the alignment is not changed by applying the bather's weight to the door.
  • Water damage to structures or property is not covered for any reason.
  • Only Ella's Bubbles can make warranties about its products. Promises made by dealers, retailers, distributors, or contractors are not binding on Ella's Bubbles.

Watch: The Testing Behind the Warranty

Every tub earns its warranty before it ever ships. As the video shows, each tub is unboxed at our warehouse, the protective plastic is removed, and the entire surface is inspected for scratches or shipping damage. The tub is then checked thoroughly for leaks, the pumps and all mechanical systems are run extensively, and the doors, latches, locks, and seals are checked to make sure they are tight and leak-proof. After passing these inspections the tub is checked again for scratches or dents, cleaned, dried, and carefully packed with handles, spigots, drains, and accessories individually wrapped, and your invoice is double-checked so we have a perfect record of your tub and where it is being shipped.
