Does Ella Send a Technician? Parts, Labor, and Free Lifetime Tech Support Explained

Updated September 2026

Does Ella send a technician? No. Ella's Bubbles is the manufacturer of your walk-in tub, and the Lifetime Limited Warranty we stand behind is a parts warranty, so we do not dispatch our own service technicians to your home. Instead, we do two things for the life of your tub: we ship verified replacement parts to you at no charge, and we provide free lifetime technical support to guide you or your local contractor through any repair by phone, email or live video. This model keeps installation and service in the hands of licensed local professionals while our manufacturing specialists back them up every step of the way.

What the Parts Warranty Provides

Should service be required for any defect or malfunction covered by your warranty, Ella's Bubbles ships the needed part to the original customer's address without charge, subject to verification of the defect or malfunction. Emailed or mailed photos of the defective product and a description of the problem are required for that verification. Delivery time depends on parts availability and your location. To get started, see how to start a warranty claim, or open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support with photos of the part, a description of the problem, your serial number, and your contact and shipping details. You can also call (800) 480-6850.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The published warranty is clear about its boundaries, and knowing them up front avoids surprises:

  • Labor is not covered. Ella's Bubbles will not be liable for any incidental expenses or material charges in connection with removal or replacement of the product or parts.
  • Installation work is not covered. This includes all plumbing or electrical related connections and any improper or negligent installation of the product.
  • Water damage to structures or property is not covered for any reason, including manufacturer defect or improper installation.

Who Warrants the Labor, Then?

The licensed contractor who installs or services your tub operates independently and provides their own warranty on their workmanship. If a question comes up about the quality of an installation or a repair, that labor coverage comes from your installer, so it is worth asking them about their labor warranty terms before work begins; labor coverage comes from your installer lists what to ask for in writing. If you need help finding a qualified professional, we can point you in the right direction. Free Lifetime Technical Support

Lifetime technical support is included with every Ella's Bubbles walk-in tub, at no cost, for as long as you own it. Our team supports you and your contractor by phone, email, and live video chat for diagnosis, part replacement, and adjustment. Whether it is your plumber's first Ella installation or a quick question years down the road, reach us through a support ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support or (800) 480-6850 and we will guide the work. Many fixes turn out to need no part at all, just a reconnected air tube or a plugged-in cord, and the team will help you rule those out first.

This video is a good example of what lifetime technical support looks like in practice. Most "one massage is not working" cases are a missing air connection between the push control and the control box. The push button sends an air signal through a small tube; the video shows how to check that the tube is seated at the box by pushing firmly onto the nipple with a twist-and-push motion, and how to check the button end by prying off the chrome ring and button, pulling out the black bellows pump, checking the lock nut and hose, and reconnecting everything. It is exactly the sort of check technical support covers by phone or live video, and it needs no technician visit.

The Short Version

  • Labor is warranted by your independent installer, not by Ella's Bubbles.

Common Questions

Can someone from Ella come out and fix my tub?
Ella's Bubbles does not have factory service technicians in the field. Technical Support diagnoses the problem with you by phone, photos and live video, ships the part when covered and guides your contractor through the repair.
Who pays the plumber or electrician for a warranty repair?
Labor is not part of the Ella's Bubbles Lifetime Limited Warranty, so the tub owner is responsible for arranging and paying for the plumber or electrician for a warranty repair. However, your installer's own labor warranty may cover these costs, so it is worth asking them about their labor warranty terms before work begins. Ella's Bubbles supplies the verified replacement part at no charge and provides free lifetime technical guidance to you or your local contractor.
My installer is gone. Who does the labor now?
Any licensed local plumber, electrician or handyman can do the work with our technical support. Open a ticket with your location and the symptom and the team can point you to a nearby contractor from the installer network.
Is lifetime technical support really free, even years later?
Yes, lifetime technical support is truly free, even years later. It is included with every Ella's Bubbles walk-in tub at no cost for as long as you own it. Our team supports you and your contractor by phone, email, and live video chat for diagnosis, part replacement, and adjustment.
Can I do the repair myself?
Many part swaps are straightforward and the team will point you to the right video or steps. Plumbing and electrical work should be done by a licensed professional, and the TCV should only be removed by a licensed, insured contractor or plumber.
My tub has had repeated problems. Will Ella replace it?
The Ella's Bubbles team reviews cases of repeated problems individually to determine if a tub replacement is warranted. To initiate this review, open a support ticket with your tub's serial number, a detailed history of what troubleshooting steps have been tried, and photos or video of the issue, then ask for it to be escalated.
Does the warranty cover the plumbing or electrical connections my installer made?
No, the Ella's Bubbles Lifetime Limited Warranty does not cover the plumbing or electrical connections your installer made. Installation work, including all plumbing and electrical connections, is specifically excluded from the manufacturer's warranty. This work is warranted by the licensed contractor who performed the installation.
What should I have ready when I call about a failed part?
Photos of the failed part, a description of the problem and your serial number. Parts approved on calls have included hydro pumps, microbubble pumps, door mechanisms, faucet cartridges, drain plug stems, door latches and seat cushion suction cups.
Do you have a certified technician in my area to fix the tub?
Ella's Bubbles manufactures the tub and does not employ service technicians. Technical support at (800) 480-6850 troubleshoots by phone or video call, then ships the replacement part; your installer, a local plumber or handyman fits it, and the team can point you to a nearby contractor from the installer network.
