The Ella Lounger's outward-swing door is built to seal tight. It closes on a three-latch gear and shaft locking mechanism that Ella describes as giving a tight, leak-proof seal, and the door and the door seal are covered parts under the Lifetime Limited Warranty for the original owner. How the Lounger Door Is Built

The current Lounger spec sheet lists a plastic composite and tempered glass outward-swing door with a 3-latch gear and shaft mechanism. It is the same U-shape door platform used on the Capri, Monaco, Front Entry, Mobile, ShaK and Big4One, with a white composite frame and a tempered glass panel. The Lounger video below shows the easy-open three-latch locking mechanism and states that it ensures a tight, leak-proof seal. What the Warranty Says About the Door and Seal

  • The Lifetime Limited Warranty covers the bathtub shell, frame, door, door seal and finish, along with the supporting equipment. Coverage is for parts only.
  • It applies to the first purchaser only, is nontransferable, and is tied to the original installation address. It is void if ownership changes or the tub is relocated, and it excludes tubs modified or repaired by anyone other than Ella's Bubbles.
  • Labor, installation, removal and water damage to the home are never covered. Ella ships the replacement part after verification, and a local licensed plumber does the work.

If You Ever See Water at the Door

Ella does not send technicians. Open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support or call (800) 480-6850 with photos of the door and seal, a description of what you see, your serial number and your contact and shipping details. The serial number is on the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door. After verification, the covered part ships to the original customer's address without charge, and your local licensed plumber fits it. Warranty activation must be completed and returned to put the warranty in force, so keep that paperwork with your order.
