This page explains the labeled callout diagram printed in the Ella Wheelchair Accessible Transfer Walk-In Tub brochure, so you can match each label to the part on your own tub. The brochure covers the five Transfer models (Transfer26, Transfer30, Transfer32, Transfer60 and TransferXXL) and draws its diagram on a Transfer30 fitted with the Air plus Hydro option. What the Brochure Diagram Shows

The diagram is a view of a Transfer30 with the L-shape door swung open. Because the tub shown has Air plus Hydro, both air and hydro jet groups appear, along with three push controls and an intensity dial labeled for the foot massage. A Hydro-only, Hydro plus Microbubble or Hydro plus Foot Massage tub will not have every jet group pictured, but the deck, drains, faucet and door callouts apply to all five models. Labels are listed exactly as printed.

Deck Callouts and Controls

The older Transfer operations sheet notes that some units come without symbols on their push controls; if yours are blank, identify each button by function (see hydro massage versus air massage controls). The Transfer30 spec sheet lists one intensity dial on the Hydro Massage package and two on the Hydro plus Hydro Independent Foot Massage package, so a single-pump tub has one dial and a foot massage tub has two.

Jets by Location

Numbers in the labels name the jet group, not the total; totals depend on the package, covered below.

The L-Shape 2-Latch Door

The brochure's headline feature is the L-shape outward-swing door for easy wheelchair transfer. The door is plastic composite and tempered glass, with space in front of the tub to pull a wheelchair up and slide across onto the seat. It closes with a 2-latch door mechanism with gear and shaft system, compared with the 3-latch mechanism on the U-shape outward-swing family. The Transfer30 spec sheet's drawing notes the door opens 172 degrees. Included Features and the 60 Inch Alcove Extension Panel

One note on the extension panel line. The brochure prints it without exclusions, but the Transfer60 is already 60 inches long and its spec sheet lists no extension panel. The Transfer30 and Transfer32 sheets list an 8 inch panel and the TransferXXL sheet a 5 inch panel. Upgrades in the brochure are Infusion Microbubble Therapy and Independent Foot and Calf Massage, which adds 6 jets dedicated to the feet and calves so the foot well can be filled and used on its own. Optional accessories are Heated Seat and Back, the Ella 4-Fold shower screen, the 10 inch rain shower column kit and a headrest neck support.

Sizes on the Brochure Versus the Spec Sheet

These are nominal sizes. For doorways, alcoves and framing use the "actual size" line on your model's spec sheet; the Transfer30 sheet prints 30" x 52" x 40" actual with a 22 inch seat width, and a shipping size of 33" x 55" x 50" for delivery clearance. Every spec sheet is linked from manuals, spec sheets and drawings by model, and the brochure set from brochures and catalogs by tub family.

Jet Counts Depend on the Package

There is no single jet count for a Transfer tub; the count is set by the therapy package you purchased. The current Transfer30 spec sheet prints this package table, and the Transfer26, Transfer32, Transfer60 and TransferXXL sheets print the same figures:

If your own count of a Hydro-package tub comes out lower than 22, you may be counting jet clusters differently from the spec sheet; check your order confirmation, and the team can confirm your configuration.
