Where Everything Is on a Stainless Steel Door Tub: The Brochure Callout Diagram Explained (Elite Shown With Air + Hydro)
This page explains the labeled callout diagram printed in the Ella Stainless Steel and Tempered Glass Door Acrylic Walk-In Tubs brochure, so you can match each label to the part on your own tub. The brochure covers the inward-swing stainless steel door family (Elite, Petite, Royal, Deluxe and Ultimate) and draws its diagram on an Elite fitted with the Air plus Hydro jetting option. Facts on this page come from that brochure and from the current Elite spec sheet (dated 6/7/23), and the brochure's nominal sizes are checked against the spec sheets where they differ. What the Brochure Diagram Shows
The diagram is a view of an Elite with the door open, so you can see the deck, the seat and the foot well at once. Every label points at a physical part or a control. Because the tub shown is the Air plus Hydro configuration, the diagram shows both air jets and hydro jets; a Hydro-only, Hydro plus Microbubble, or Hydro plus Foot Massage tub will not have every jet group pictured. The labels below are printed exactly as they appear in the brochure.

The numbers in the labels name the jet group being pointed at, not the total. For totals, the Elite spec sheet lists Hydro Massage as 16 jets (10 seat plus 6 foot) and Air Massage as 16 jets (8 seat plus 8 foot). Package by package counts for every model are in jet counts by model and package.
Under the Rim: Hydro Inlet, Swivel Tray, Door Handle
Three labels sit low on the diagram. The "hydro inlet-intake" is the suction cover that feeds the hydro pump; the manual asks you to clear hair and debris from it monthly. The "patented removable swivel tray" swings across the tub to hold soap and a book and lifts off for cleaning. The "stainless steel door handle" is the extended handle on the inside of the inward-swing door, which you use to close the door from your standing position inside the tub. Included Versus Upgrade Features Listed on the Brochure
The brochure prints these as included on the family: a pull-out hand shower with 5 water pressure modes; the Ella 5-piece or 2-piece fast-fill faucet in chrome with two 5 foot supply lines; and the LED chromatherapy light. The family checklist adds deck and wall grab bars, a textured floor, a reversible end panel, the removable swivel tray, a removable door, and an extension panel for a 60 inch alcove, with a footnote that the extension panel is not available for the Ultimate because that model is already 60 inches long.
Two upgrades are described. Heated Seat and Back uses radiant heaters in the seat and backrest surfaces, operated by an On/Off push control or the digital control, and keeps you warm while the tub fills. Independent Foot and Calf Massage adds a second hydro pump and 6 independent jets dedicated to the feet and calves, so you can fill only the foot well and use the foot massage without filling the whole tub. The brochure also lists optional accessories: the Ella 4-Fold shower screen, the 10 inch rain shower column kit and a headrest neck support. Brochure sizes are nominal. The spec sheet's "actual size" line is the figure to use for doorway, alcove and framing decisions. The Elite spec sheet prints 30" x 52" x 35" actual, which matches the brochure. The Petite is the one to watch: the brochure and product page say 28 inches wide, while the current Petite spec sheet prints an actual width of 27.5 inches, so use 27.5 inches for any fit question.
