This tour presents the acrylic Transfer tub with its extra wide L-shaped door and two-latch gear and shaft lock. It shows the two sizes side by side: the 32 inch by 52 inch model with a 24 inch seat width, 44 inches of interior length and a 15 1/2 inch seat length, and the 30 inch by 52 inch model with a 22 inch seat width and the same interior and seat length. The narration explains that soaking depth comes from three things, the interior length, the seat length and the distance from the top of the seat to the center of the overflow, and it gives the Transfer32 soaking depth as 14 1/2 inches. It then walks through the therapy options: three-speed air massage with auto purge, hydro massage with an intensity dial and in-line water heater, foot jets, ozone sterilization, the independent foot massage option, the Infusion microbubble option, a heated seat and backrest, and chromatherapy with the dual massage package. Both sizes come with the 5-piece fast-fill faucet and hand shower, and both use dual 2 inch drains.

One note on jet counts. The video quotes counts for the air and hydro systems, but the current Transfer spec sheets define jets by therapy package rather than by model. With the Hydro and Air package the sheets list 17 air jets (11 seat jets plus 6 foot jets) and 11 hydro jets (5 back, 6 foot). With the Hydro Massage or Hydro plus Independent Foot Massage packages the sheets list 22 hydro jets (16 seat, 6 foot). Those package definitions are the same across Transfer30, Transfer32, Transfer60 and TransferXXL, so check which package is on your order before counting jets.

Video 2: How You Get in, and How Wide the Family Runs

This walkthrough is the one to watch if your question is about entry. Because there is no side wall next to the seat, the presenter shows three ways in: roll a wheelchair up beside the tub, drop the chair arm and transfer straight onto the seat, then close the door behind you; sit down on the seat from a standing position and swing your feet in; or simply step in as you would with any walk-in tub. He points out the weight of the door, the milled hinges mortised into it, the stainless pins and the integrated door seal that is part of the door rather than glued in, and the ergonomic handle. He also shows a practical layout trick: the winged portion of the door is shaped so it can swing over the top of a toilet, which lets a large tub go into a tight bathroom.

On the plumbing side he explains the 3/4 inch faucet body and 3/4 inch braided supply lines, which allow unrestricted flow up to 18 gallons per minute when the house can supply it, and the two 2 inch drains. Near the end he brings out the largest model, which the video calls the triple XL. The correct current name is TransferXXL; it is 36 inches wide and the current spec sheet lists a 29 inch seat width, the widest in the line. The family runs from a 26 inch wide model to the 36 inch model, which is why there are five sizes. Two figures in this video are older than the current documents: the current spec sheet drawings show the door opening 172 degrees, and the current spec sheets give the seat widths, so use those numbers for planning.

Video 3: The Legacy S-Class 3655 with the 6 Inch Threshold

The S-Class 3655 is a legacy model and is not part of the current lineup, but many are still in service. The video presents it as a tub with extended length and width for extra tall and extra large bathers, with a 29 1/2 inch seat width, a low threshold, a textured floor, wall and deck grab bars and a built-in towel rack. It has three-speed air massage with auto purge, hydro massage with an in-line water heater and intensity dial, foot massage jets and dual 2 inch drains. The point that most owners ask about is the threshold: this S-Class has a 6 inch threshold height rather than a 3 inch height, and the extra height is what makes room for the floor jets and the dual drains. A 5-piece fast-fill faucet set with an extendable multi-function shower head was available, with 5 foot supply lines included with that set, and the electrical components plug into a dedicated GFCI outlet. A four-fold glass screen and a heated seat and backrest were options.
