The Ella Transfer30 is the standard-size member of the wheelchair-accessible Transfer family and, according to its product page, the most popular one. Its actual size is 30 inches wide by 52 inches long by 40 inches tall with a 22 inch wide molded seat. It uses the 36 inch wide L-shaped outward-swing door with the two-latch gear and shaft lock, ships with an 8 inch extension panel for 60 inch alcoves, and is available with the full menu of single and dual therapy packages.

Door, Faucet Editions and Panels
The L-shaped door is a composite frame with a tempered glass panel and swings outward. Its winged shape is what lets it swing over a standard toilet in a typical vanity, toilet, tub layout while still providing a wide opening to transfer onto the seat. Two faucet editions exist. The current spec sheet headlines the five-piece fast-fill faucet, rated up to 18 gallons per minute at 60 PSI under ideal in-home plumbing, and the catalog also lists a Transfer30 with the two-piece fast-fill faucet, rated up to 16 gallons per minute. Both come with two 5 foot 3/4 inch supply lines and a pull-out chrome hand shower on a 5 foot braided hose. Included with the tub are a removable front apron with two access panels, one reversible end panel, the 8 inch extension panel, a deck-mounted and a wall-mounted chrome grab bar, and two 2 inch four-port drains with two overflows and two cable openers.

- Hydro Massage: 7 amp pump, intensity dial, ozone sterilization, in-line water heater, 22 jets (16 seat and 6 foot).
- Hydro + Hydro Independent Foot Massage: two hydro pumps (5 amp and 7 amp), two intensity dials, ozone, in-line heater on the lower jets, 22 jets.
- Air + Hydro: 4.5 amp three-speed air pump with auto purge, 17 air jets (11 seat including 2 bidet jets, 6 foot) and 11 hydro jets (5 back, 6 foot).
- Hydro Massage + Microbubble: hydro package plus the 1 HP microbubble pump, pressure vessel and agitator valve.
LED chromatherapy is included with the dual packages. A heated seat and backrest and a digital controller are optional. Every package needs dedicated GFCI-protected 115/120 V, 60 Hz lines, and the number of 20 amp circuits depends on how many pumps your package runs; see electrical requirements by model. Your electrician should size the circuits from the schematic that matches your order, since pump amperage can change with availability.
Transfer30 Versus Transfer26 and Transfer32
All three are 52 inches long and share the same door and drain system. The Transfer26 is 26 inches wide with a 19 inch seat and the two-piece faucet, for petite bathers and narrow rooms. The Transfer30 is 30 inches wide with a 22 inch seat, the standard-size choice for average bathers. The Transfer32 is 2 inches wider with a 24 inch seat and adds a triple Air + Hydro + Microbubble package. Each of the three includes the 8 inch extension panel for a 60 inch alcove.
