A few reminders while you work: switch off the tub's dedicated GFCI breaker before touching any electrical connection, never run a pump without water above every jet, and photograph connections before you disconnect them so everything goes back to the right port. Replacing a Digital Touchpad

The video begins by protecting the tub surface around the pad. Carefully cut the silicone seal around the edges of the old pad with a straight edge, taking care not to cut the tub, and work your way around the pad prying it away; it may take several tries because it was siliconed in. Lift the old pad out and disconnect its plug. Take the new pad, reconnect the plug and push firmly for a good connection. Before setting the pad in place, temporarily reconnect power to the tub and confirm the new pad works. Remove the backing from the two-sided tape already attached to the new unit, set it into place, and press firmly. Seal all the edges with white silicone and smooth them. The new touchpad is then ready to use.

Removing or Replacing an Outward Swing Door

Using a 3/16 inch Allen wrench, loosen and remove the six bolts on the door side of the hinge. With a helper, simply lift the door away from the tub; the video pauses to show how the hinge looks with the door off. To fit the door again, line up the bolt holes on the door with the holes on the hinge and tighten the bolts firmly. This is a two-person job because of the door's weight, and it is the same procedure whether you are swapping in a new door or removing the door to reach the seal. Disconnecting the Ozone Generator

The ozone generator normally runs whenever the hydro pump runs and makes a light hum when it is on by itself, which is normal. For owners who want it out of the circuit, the video shows a simple process. Locate the power cord from the ozone generator and find the T connection that joins the hydro pump to the ozone generator. Disconnect both ends of the T. Wrap the disconnected ozone cord with a cable tie and secure it within the frame of the tub so it cannot dangle. Then reconnect the hydro pump plug directly to the plug coming from the central control box. The ozone generator is now safely disconnected and the hydro pump runs as before.

When the Video Does Not Resolve It
