Every Shower Video in One Place: Low-Threshold and Barrier-Free Installs, the Shower Dam, Shower Bases, Cultured Marble Walls, CNC Wall Kits and Grout-Free PVC Tile

Updated September 2026

Every Ella's Bubbles shower video is collected here in one place: the three-piece low-threshold install, the five-piece barrier-free tutorial in two parts, the collapsible shower dam, the shower bases, the cultured marble walls and base, the CNC engraved acrylic wall kits, and the grout-free PVC tile. Each entry has a caption drawn from the video itself and names the support article that goes deeper. The complete shower kits, such as the Liberty, Freedom, and Accessible Plus packages, are Home Depot items, while shower bases, the rubber dam, and wall surrounds are available through your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850. The shower kits and bases overview explains that split product by product.

Low-Threshold Three-Piece Shower Install

The full three-piece procedure: dry-assemble before demolition and photograph it, check the framing pocket for square, plumb, and level, slide the base in on three short PVC pipes, set the temporary threshold line, install the 2 inch no-caulk drain with plumber's putty, make sure the built-in back support leg touches the subfloor (the warranty depends on it), lay silicone adhesive beads, screw to the studs with countersunk #8 stainless screws, hang the wall panels on the pin-and-slot system from the front, mount the valve with looped PEX, leak test, and caulk every seam with 1/8 inch gaps. Written up in the multi-piece gel coat shower installation article.

Barrier-Free Five-Piece Tutorial

Part one opens with receiving: an adult must inspect the cartons and note any damage on the bill of lading before the driver leaves, photograph it, and report it; if you cannot inspect, sign "subject to further inspection." It then runs the same dry assembly, framing check, drain, support leg, adhesive, screw, panel, valve, and caulk sequence as the three-piece video. The published rule is to report shipping damage within 48 hours of receipt, and the steps are in the freight damage claims article.

Part two is the barrier-free specific detail: clean the pocket completely because even a pebble affects the draft to the drain, leave a 10 by 10 inch opening around the drain, adhere the pan with three tubes of clear silicone in a square pattern, screw to the studs, recheck level and draft, use rapid-set modified thinset if the floor is more than 3/16 inch out of level, then brace the pan near the drain for four hours or weigh it with water-filled 5-gallon buckets before setting the lower and upper back panels, the side panels, and the valve wall. Each panel has steel rod supports, so check their location before drilling the valve hole.

The Collapsible Shower Dam

The flexible dam lets a wheelchair roll over the edge of a barrier-free base while keeping water inside. The video shows cleaning with alcohol, laying a tape guide line, cutting the dam, inserting the end cap, peeling the backing tape back about an inch at a time while seating the dam against wall and floor, then taping both sides and running a thin silicone bead along the lower edge and at each end cap. Written up, with the caulk-the-grout-line rule, in the shower base and dam installation article.

Shower Bases

The cultured marble bases come in three sizes as heavy, solid molded slabs with a glossy gel coat and an ADA slip-resistant textured floor; plan on two people to carry and set one. This line has been on hold, so confirm availability before you design around it.

Slip-Resistant, Strong Shower Bases (YDEKeKC6xyA) is a no-narration look at the acrylic base construction and textured floor; it is embedded in the custom-size shower bases article. The published thresholds, drains, and sizes for every base are compared in the shower base sizes and thresholds article.

Wall Surrounds and Tile

The cultured marble travertine panels are a quartz and granite composite with a gel coat, offered as 8, 6, or 4 panel surrounds that one person can install. They glue over drywall, plaster, painted walls, Durock, or existing tile, and the factory-finished edges can be trimmed.
A brief customer reaction to the CNC engraved marble and stone patterns on the acrylic 3-panel wall kits. It is a look at the finish, not an instruction video; the installation manual for the CNC kit is linked from the wall panels article.

The PVC tiles go over new or existing surfaces with a tongue-and-groove joint: measure, score and snap, apply adhesive to the back, run a thin silicone bead at each joint for a watertight seal, then set and snap into place. All three wall systems are described in the wall panels and surrounds article.

Common Questions

Is there a video of the three-piece low-threshold shower install?
Yes. Step-by-Step Low-Threshold Shower Installation for Remodeling (2I5pnf4AB7s), embedded first above, is the complete three-piece procedure. It runs from the dry assembly and framing check through the drain, the support leg, the adhesive, the screws, the wall panels, the valve, the leak test, and the final caulking, and the written version is the multi-piece gel coat shower installation article.
Where is the barrier-free five-piece install tutorial?
It is in two parts, ltf1TvsSzBs and RTQ4G9geRuM, and both are embedded above. Part one covers receiving and inspecting the cartons and then the steps shared with the three-piece install. Part two covers the barrier-free specifics, including cleaning the pocket, the silicone adhesive pattern, rechecking level and draft to the drain, and bracing the pan before the panels and valve wall go on.
Is there a video for the rubber shower dam?
Yes. The Ella Shower Dam video embedded above shows the whole installation, from cleaning with alcohol and laying a tape guide line through cutting the dam, inserting the end cap, seating it against the wall and floor, taping both sides, and running the final silicone bead along the lower edge and at each end cap. The written steps, including the caulk-the-grout-line rule, are in the shower base and dam installation article.
Can I see the PVC tongue-and-groove tile being installed?
Yes. The Grout-less Tongue and Groove PVC Carrara Tile Installation video embedded above shows the tiles going over new or existing surfaces: measuring, scoring and snapping, applying adhesive to the back, running a thin silicone bead at each joint for a watertight seal, and snapping the tiles together. The wall panels and surrounds article describes the tile system alongside the other two wall options.
Is there a video of the cultured marble surround?
Yes. Transform Your Shower with Cultured Marble Wall Surround, embedded above, covers the travertine panels, and Cultured Marble Reversible Shower Base with Low Threshold is the separate video for the cultured marble base. Both products have been on hold with no restock date announced, so confirm availability with your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 before you plan around them.
Why does the five-piece title show a three-piece unit in part one?
Part one uses the three-piece unit to demonstrate the steps that both showers share: receiving, dry assembly, the framing check, the drain, the support leg, adhesive, screws, panels, valve, and caulk. Part two then moves to the five-piece barrier-free unit for the specifics that differ, including the pan adhesive pattern, the draft check, and the bracing. Watching both parts in order gives you the complete five-piece procedure.
Is there a video for the roll-in acrylic base itself?
The base construction video and the dam video are the two that cover roll-in bases, so there is not a separate step-by-step install video for the base itself. Slip-Resistant, Strong Shower Bases (YDEKeKC6xyA) is a no-narration look at the acrylic base construction and textured floor, and The Ella Shower Dam video shows the dam being fitted to a barrier-free base. The roll-in base installation guide on ellasbubbles.com is a drawing-based PDF rather than a video.
What if my shower kit arrived damaged?
Note the damage on the bill of lading before the driver leaves, photograph it, and report it, exactly as part one of the tutorial shows; if you cannot inspect the cartons at delivery, sign "subject to further inspection." The published rule is to report shipping damage within 48 hours of receipt, and the steps are in the freight damage claims article. A complete shower kit bought as a Home Depot item follows Home Depot's delivery claim process instead.
