Every Ella Door Video in One Place: Seals, Handles, Latches, Alignment and Replacement by Door Family

Updated September 2026

This page collects every Ella's Bubbles walk-in tub door video in one place, grouped by door family and ordered from routine maintenance to adjustment to replacement. Each entry says what the video shows and when to watch it. A few clips are unlisted support videos that the team sends by link; they are marked so you can confirm the link still works before relying on it. The article linked with each entry owns the written procedure.

Maintenance Videos (every Family)

Proper Door Seal Maintenance. Watch this first for any drip at the door. It shows cleaning the seal and the door frame with a common household cleaner, why residue and debris cause leaks, how to secure a loose gasket with a thin bead of silicone in the channel (set 20 minutes before reinserting, dry 24 hours), how to add a bead where the gasket meets the frame on inward doors, and the rule to leave the door slightly open when the tub is not in use. Written procedure: Caring for Your Door Seal.

Proper Door Alignment (00wic-XxOKM). When the door rubs the jamb or sits low. Raise the center leveling leg so the door frame opens up, then confirm all legs are firmly on the floor. Written procedure: My Door Rubs the Frame When It Closes.

Leveling legs are critical (CvjPN4-Rra8). Companion clip on checking every foot; a lifted leg means the door will not seal. Written procedure: Water at the Door: What to Check First.

Seal Replacement Videos

How To Install a Walk-In Tub Door Seal, Step-By-Step (aZEkpVoqeTg). Adhesive remover, spatula to seat the gasket, four V-shaped relief cuts at the outer curves, straight cuts at the inner curves, angled finish at the end. Written procedure: Installing a Replacement Door Seal, Including the LayDown Glass Door.

Install door seal on an Ella walk-in bath tub (BZjbN73R2PA). Older clip of the same job from the Tech Support playlist.

LayDown tub door seal replacement (-uL_WZxOXDs, unlisted, support-cited). Short clip for the LayDown glass door seal. Confirm the link, then follow the same article above.

Handle and Latch Videos

Chrome Door Handle Adjustment (YKLKw_N453U). Remove the front apron and the protective cap; loosen the lock nut for less tension, tighten for more. For a handle that is no longer flush or a door that is hard to operate.

Door handle washer replacement (jegOHtn3P4I, unlisted, support-cited). Shows access to the lock nut and washer behind the handle; skip the washer portion if the only problem is a nut that is too tight.

Door hinge adjustment, stainless steel door (Kp0vYWBDQzY, unlisted, support-cited). Small hinge correction, about 1/8 inch, after someone leaned on the door. Written procedure for all three: Adjusting the Door Handle Lock Nut and the Hinge.

Latch Replacement for Inward Swing Stainless Steel Door (mgiXT6V7DRg). The dedicated latch swap for the stainless steel door, from the Tech Support playlist.

Proper Handle Installation, Outswing Doors. For U-shape and L-shape outward doors. Line up the tabs, place the handle onto the latch mechanism, insert and hand-tighten the locking bolt, secure it with a socket wrench, then attach and hand-tighten the chrome cover. Orientation matters: the handle must face away from the hinges when unlocked and toward the hinges when locked, and the video shows the incorrect placements that cause improper closure and leaks. A duplicate upload exists as xUQcjOd4gh8. Written procedure: Door latch or handle trouble.

L-shape door striker adjustment (eZV_9eh4GoM, unlisted, support-cited). Adjusting the bottom pin individually when one pin extends less than the other; pins should extend about 1 1/2 inches when locked.

Transfer L-shape door mechanism (ke55zuPCiI8, unlisted, support-cited). How the handle assembly mounts to the L-shape door. Written procedure for both: L-Shape Transfer Door Pins and Striker Plate.

Door Replacement Videos

Replacing An Outward Swing Door. Using a 3/16 inch Allen wrench, loosen and remove the six bolts on the door side of the hinge, then lift the door away from the tub with a helper. To fit the door, line up the bolt holes on the door with the holes on the hinge and tighten the bolts firmly. Replacing a whole door is rare; the team will usually ask where the leak is first, since most door problems are solved with the maintenance and adjustment videos above. Written procedure: Cracked, Damaged, or Sagging Door.

Custom Brushed Stainless Steel Inward Swing Door (5xxnAQPk7FE). Overview of the stainless door family; it notes the door is removable for cleaning, which is also how it lifts off for a replacement or a narrow delivery path.

Understanding the Doors

Advanced Door Locking System (gBC0CMY97ks), Pick the Perfect Walk-In Tub Door (qKYOH4YAzWs) and Why Choose an Outward Door Swing (hgPYt060_rI) explain the vault-style gear-and-shaft lock, the five door styles, and the three-latch and two-latch mechanisms. Written companions: How the Outward-Swing U-Shape Door Works, Operating the L-Shape Transfer Door, the inward-swing acrylic door, the LayDown glass door and why the door will not open until the tub drains.

Common Questions

Which door video applies to my door type?
Find your model in the family list at the top of this page. The maintenance and alignment videos apply to every family; the handle installation and door replacement videos are for outward U-shape and L-shape doors; the striker and mechanism clips are for the L-shape Transfer door; and the hinge short, handle adjustment and latch replacement clips are for the stainless steel inward-swing door. The LayDown glass door has its own seal clip in the seal replacement section. If you are still unsure which door you have, the article linked at the top of the page will identify it.
Is there a video for a leaking door?
Yes. Start with Proper Door Seal Maintenance, which covers cleaning the seal and frame and securing a loose gasket, then watch Proper Door Alignment, which shows raising the center leveling leg when the door rubs or sits low. Those two videos resolve most leaks, and the written checklist they pair with is linked in the maintenance section above.
Is there a video for replacing the handle, latch or the whole door?
For the handle, watch Proper Handle Installation for outward doors, and the chrome handle adjustment and washer clips for inward stainless doors. For the latch, use the stainless door latch replacement clip, or the L-shape striker adjustment if your Transfer door pins are uneven. For a whole door, Replacing An Outward Swing Door shows the six hinge bolts and the lift-off, although the team will usually ask where the leak is first because most door problems are solved with the maintenance and adjustment videos.
Where is the video for the LayDown door seal?
It is the unlisted LayDown seal clip linked in the seal replacement section above, which the team also sends by link. Because it is unlisted, confirm the link opens before relying on it. If it does not, ask through ellasbubbles.com/support with your model and serial number and the team will send the current link.
Is there a video on leveling before the tub is installed?
Yes. The Installation Tips video and the leveling clips are collected in our installation video library. Because a lifted leg means the door will not seal, watching them before the tub is set saves adjustment work later.
Can I get a video that is not on this page?
Yes. Open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support with your model and serial number and describe the job you need to do. The team keeps unlisted support clips for specific doors and years and will send the right one by link, along with the written procedure that goes with it.

For anything specific to your model or serial number, open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support or call (800) 480-6850, and please attach photos so the team can help you quickly.
