Reading Your Invoice and Label: Model Names, SKU Suffixes, Legacy Model Numbers and Common Part Codes Explained

Updated September 2026

The codes on your invoice or tub label point back to one of three things: the tub model, the side the door and drain sit on, or an add-on that shipped with the tub. Today's tubs are named by family and size (Elite 30x52, Transfer60 30x60), older paperwork may show a numeric or letter code, and part codes such as HSB or 5P-FFF describe accessories. This guide decodes the codes the support team sees most often. If yours is not listed, the team at (800) 480-6850 looks everything up from your name, your order or the serial number on the tub.

Current Naming: Family, Size, and the L or R Suffix

Every current Ella walk-in tub carries a family name and a nominal exterior size in inches, for example Ultimate 30x60 or TransferXXL 36x55. Product pages, spec sheets and manuals all use these names, so they are the fastest way to describe your tub to support.

  • L or R at the end of a SKU is the door and drain side. HC3260L is a left-hand HomeCare and HC3260R is the right-hand version. The same rule applies across the line, so HHA321R is an Ultimate with a right-hand door and drain. Support confirms it by asking whether your door and drain are on the left or the right.
  • NF on a LayDown72 SKU means the tub shipped with no factory faucet. LA3272NF-L and LA3272NF-R are the faucet-ready 32x72 LayDown tubs meant to pair with your own fixtures. The LayDown60 (30x60) does not come with a faucet at all, so its SKU does not need the NF marker. The LayDown tub guide covers the faucet options in more detail.
  • Letters ahead of the numbers can describe the therapy package that was ordered. As one example, a Lounger ordered with hydro plus microbubble therapy was coded HMOA2660, while the base code for the same tub is OA2660. The digits often echo the nominal size (3052, 3272), but not every family follows that pattern.
  • Clearance units are identified by serial number right in the listing name, for example "Clearance Ultimate Acrylic Walk-In Tub 30x60, LH door and drain, SN M0189". If your tub came from a clearance listing, that serial is the code to quote.

Legacy Model Numbers and What They Map to

Older invoices and warranty paperwork often show a number rather than a name. These are the ones support decodes most often:

  • 93107 and 93108 are the Elite hydro model, 93107 with a left-hand door and drain and 93108 with a right-hand door and drain.
  • 93117 shows up on Royal paperwork, sometimes written 93117L for the left-hand version.
  • 93217 and 93218 are the Ultimate, 93217 for a left drain and 93218 for a right drain. 932175P is also an Ultimate, in this case ordered with the 5-piece fast-fill faucet. The team has confirmed it is the Ultimate, so the current Ultimate product page and spec sheet apply.
  • HHA321L and HHA321R are the Ultimate as well, coded by letters instead of numbers. Adding HSB to that code marks a heated seat and backrest.
  • HA310L and HA310R are the Elite, left and right. The same tub also appears as H310 with a 7 added for a left-hand drain or an 8 for a right-hand drain. The seat always sits opposite the drain.
  • OA3666 is the Big4One and OA2660 is the Lounger, both outward-swing door tubs.
  • HHAO2SA3260L is the Tub4Two two-seat tub, left-hand configuration.
  • OA3052H is the Malibu, which was renamed the Capri. It is the same tub under a new name, so the Capri documents are the ones to reference.
  • OAC3252 is the Chi and WT5932 is the Tramo, both discontinued. The legacy Chi, Malibu and Tramo article covers those tubs in depth.
  • 355502 was the Bariatric Air Massage Wide Seat walk-in tub. It is discontinued, and the TransferXXL 36x55 is the current bariatric transfer-door option.

TransferXXL, Never XXXL

You may run across "XXXL" on an older schematic or in an old reply. That is a misprint. The model is the TransferXXL, and there is no XXXL tub in the Ella's Bubbles lineup. The older and newer copies of that schematic describe the same TransferXXL system, so if your paperwork says XXXL, request parts for the TransferXXL. The TransferXXL profile has the current specifications.

Assisted-Bathing Line Codes

  • HC3260L / HC3260R is the HomeCare 32x60 transfer tub, built for caregiver-assisted bathing only.
  • Transfer3060HL is the HoistAssist system, a battery hoist paired with a tub whose shell code is LOLA3060.
  • LD6632 is the CareGiver, also listed as the Care Assist XL, including the version paired with its own water tank and lay-down tub.

Part Codes You May See on an Invoice

  • HSB is the heated seat and backrest. On some invoices it appears after a plus sign following the tub code, for example HHA321R + HSB.
  • 5P-FFF is the 5-piece fast-fill faucet. A finish suffix may follow it, such as 5P-FFF-BN for brushed nickel. The faucet is often listed as its own line item.
  • EC2020 is the shower column kit with the 10-inch rain head. It is an add-on that pairs with the Ella 2-piece or 5-piece deck-mount faucet.
  • TCV is the thermostatic control valve. There is no separate model number for it; support simply records it as the TCV for your tub.
  • EB-FLANGE is the tile flange. Because the flange has to match the tub, include your tub model in your request so the right one ships.

Where the Serial Number Lives and Why It Matters

This short video shows the label on the inside of one of the removable panels and explains why the serial matters: it tells the team when your tub was made, who made it and which replacement parts are compatible. Ella's FAQ places the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door, and support often points owners to the large panel on the seat side, so check both. Serial numbers typically begin with the letter M followed by digits (M0189, for example), but quote exactly what is printed. Our article on finding your model and serial numbers walks through the panels step by step.

  1. Remove the magnetic or screw-held access panel next to the door, or the large panel on the seat side.
  2. Look on the inside of the panel or the frame behind it for a metal label or sticker.
  3. Photograph the whole label, then send the photo with your part request.

Common Questions

Are you able to tell me what tub SKU 932175P is?
Yes. 932175P is the Ultimate walk-in tub ordered with the 5-piece fast-fill faucet, which is what the 5P at the end of the code records. The team has confirmed this mapping, so the current Ultimate product page and spec sheet apply to your tub. When requesting a part, mention the Ultimate by name along with your door and drain side and the serial number from the label.
What model is 93107, 93108, 93217 or 93218?
93107 and 93108 are both the Elite hydro model, with 93107 identifying a left-hand door and drain and 93108 the right-hand version. 93217 and 93218 are both the Ultimate, with 93217 for a left drain and 93218 for a right drain. Once you know which name applies, the current product page, spec sheet and manual for that model are the documents to use.
What does the L or R at the end of my SKU mean?
The L or R at the end of a SKU records the side the door and drain sit on, left-hand or right-hand, so HC3260L is a left-hand HomeCare and HC3260R is the right-hand version. The same rule applies across the line, and the seat always sits at the opposite end from the drain. If you are unsure which you have, stand facing the tub and note whether the door and drain are on your left or your right, which is exactly what the team will ask.
What does NF mean on a LayDown SKU?
NF stands for no faucet. LA3272NF-L and LA3272NF-R are the 32x72 LayDown tubs that ship faucet-ready to pair with your own fixtures, with the L or R again marking the door and drain side. The LayDown60, the 30x60 model, does not come with a faucet at all, so its SKU carries no NF marker. The LayDown tub guide linked above explains the faucet options in more detail.
Is the Malibu the same as the Capri?
Yes. The Malibu, coded OA3052H, was renamed the Capri, and it is the same tub under a new name rather than a different model. That means the current Capri documents, spec sheet and parts are the ones to reference for a Malibu. If your paperwork still says Malibu, simply tell the team it is the Capri and they will know exactly which tub you have.
What are HSB and 5P-FFF on my invoice?
HSB is the heated seat and backrest option, and on some invoices it appears after a plus sign following the tub code, as in HHA321R + HSB. 5P-FFF is the 5-piece fast-fill faucet, which is often listed as its own line item, and a finish suffix such as BN for brushed nickel may follow it. Neither code changes the tub model itself; they simply record the options that shipped with it.
Is there a TransferXXXL?
No. XXXL is a misprint that appears on an older schematic and in some old replies, and there is no XXXL tub in the Ella's Bubbles lineup. The bariatric transfer tub is the TransferXXL 36x55, and the older and newer copies of that schematic describe the same TransferXXL system, so request parts for the TransferXXL if your paperwork says XXXL. The TransferXXL is also the current option that took the place of the discontinued 355502 bariatric air massage tub.
Do I need the code at all to request a part?
No. The team can identify your tub from your name, your order or the serial number printed on the label inside one of the removable panels, so a code is helpful but never required. The most useful thing you can send is a photo of the whole label together with a photo of the part you need, since that lets the team confirm the right part for your tub. The steps are laid out in how to order replacement parts.

Still not sure what your code means? Reach the team at ellasbubbles.com/support or (800) 480-6850 with a photo of your label and your invoice line, and they will identify your tub and the right part for it.
