If the Tub Moves: What Still Applies

• ☐ Free lifetime technical support continues at your new home, and replacement parts stay matched to your serial number
• ☐ Photograph the serial label before anything is disconnected; it is behind the magnetic access panel next to the door, as the model and serial number guide shows

Uninstall and Carry Rules

• ☐ Drain the tub completely and dry it
• ☐ Have a licensed electrician disconnect the equipment from its dedicated GFCI circuit and a licensed plumber disconnect the supply lines and drain
• ☐ Remove the front apron, every access panel and both end panels before the tub is moved or carried
• ☐ Lift and carry only by the frame, never by the plumbing, faucet, door or any other part
• ☐ Protect the underside: air jets on the bottom of the shell can break off if the tub is set down hard or dragged

Packing the Small Parts and Documents

• ☐ Bag and label the panels, drain handles, headrest, grab bar hardware, washers and screws together
• ☐ Keep the door open or ajar in transit and let nothing press on the door seal; a seal that stays compressed can deform, and door seal care and replacement shows how to restore it
• ☐ Keep the manual and spec sheet with the hardware, or download fresh copies using manuals and spec sheets by model

Reinstallation: Same Rules as a New Install

• ☐ Confirm the new subfloor is level and rated for the tub, the bather and a full fill of water
• ☐ Adjust the leveling legs so every leg touches with equal weight, following the leveling guide
• ☐ Have a licensed electrician connect each cord to its own dedicated GFCI circuit and ground the frame
• ☐ Wipe the door seal with rubbing alcohol and check that the door closes smoothly into a watertight seal
• ☐ Run the pre-installation water test before any wall is closed, and never start a pump until water covers all the jets
• ☐ Run the first-use flush: 2 cups white vinegar with 2 cups water, tub filled to 1 inch above the highest jets, jets on for 10 minutes, then drain
