To activate your Ella warranty, complete the two page Warranty Activation Form at ellasbubbles.com/warranty-activation/, which is linked at the bottom of every page on ellasbubbles.com. You and your installer each fill in and sign your own section, you attach a copy of the sales receipt and the installer's license and insurance information, and you submit it. The field by field walkthrough is in How Do I Activate My Walk-In Tub Warranty?, and this page covers the three things that walkthrough does not settle on its own: how to confirm the registration is actually on file, what to do when the installer will not sign, and whether you can activate before the installation is finished.
What a Complete Activation Looks Like
Activation is the step that puts the Lifetime Limited Warranty in force, so it is worth checking that every part is present before you consider it done. The form has two pages. The owner page asks for your name, the installation address, the model and serial number, and your signature. The installer page asks for the installing company's details, its license and insurance information, a sign-off on the 16 installation checks, and the installer's signature.
- Your section, completed and signed by you as the first purchaser, using the address where the tub was installed.
- The installer section, completed and signed by the installer, with the license and insurance information filled in.
- A copy of the sales receipt. If your only receipt is the invoice from your contractor, that invoice counts as your sales receipt.
- The model and serial number. The serial is on the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door, and the model, SKU or UPC is on your proposal or invoice. If you cannot find the serial, leave the field blank and the team looks it up from your order.
The activation is complete only once both sections are signed and the receipt is included. A form with one signature missing is not yet an activation, which is why the two situations further down matter. What Is the Warranty Activation Form for an Ella Walk-In Tub? describes each page and each of the installer's checks in more detail.
How to Confirm the Warranty Is Registered
The way to confirm is to ask the team. They can look up an existing registration by name or by installation address, so open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support or call (800) 480-6850 and ask them to check what is on file. Have the serial number and the installation address ready, because the record is tied to the first purchaser at that address. Three outcomes are possible, and each has a clear next step.
- A registration is on file in your name at your address. You are done. Keep a copy of the signed form, the sales receipt and a photo of the serial label together, because warranty parts and support requests go faster with those in hand.
- A registration is on file, but it was submitted by your dealer or installer. Many owners buy through a dealer or an installation company, and the warranty is registered in the customer's name at the installation address, with the dealer recorded as the place of purchase. That is a valid registration, and you do not need to send a second form. Dealers and Installers: How to Activate the Warranty in Your Customer's Name shows how that version of the form is filled in.
- Nothing is on file. Complete the form now at ellasbubbles.com/warranty-activation/. There is no published registration deadline, and the form can be completed after installation, so a late submission is handled the same way as a prompt one. Is My Walk-In Tub Still Covered If I Never Registered the Warranty? covers what a late activation involves and what to do if a defect has already appeared.
If you submitted online and are not sure whether it went through, the same lookup settles it. Whichever route you used, you only need to send the form once, so check with the team before sending it again.
If the Installer Will Not Sign the Form
The installer section is a required part of the activation. The warranty expects the tub to have been installed the way the checklist describes, and the installer's signature is what confirms that. The published material does not describe an activation that is complete without it, so the first step is always to ask the installer to complete and sign the installer page, even if the job finished some time ago. Installers sometimes leave without going over the 16 item checklist with the owner, and a request after the fact is normal.
A few things make that request easier to grant:
- The installer does not need a receipt number or a dealer login to open the form. They can fill in their section online and let you sign and submit the owner section, or complete a printed copy of the two page form and sign it.
- The checks they are signing are the ones a careful installer already performed: the tub is level with all legs touching the floor, the tub is on a dedicated GFCI breaker, the thermostatic control valve was operated on both hot and cold, the locking nut is tightened on both drain stoppers, and the door seal was watertight after a 20 minute fill.
- The form asks for the installer's license and insurance information along with the signature, so ask for those at the same time. Any licensed installer can sign; certification by Ella is not required.
If the installer cannot be reached, has closed the business, or declines to sign, open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support and explain the situation. Include your completed owner page, the sales receipt, the serial number, the installation date and whatever you know about who did the work. The published terms require both signatures, so this page cannot promise how a form without one is handled. The ticket is the right place to resolve it, rather than leaving the tub unregistered.
Activating Before the Installation Is Finished
You can start the form early, but it cannot be completed until the installation is. The owner page needs only your details, the serial and model numbers, and the receipt, and those are available the day the tub arrives. The installer page is different. Its 16 checks describe a finished, tested installation, including a level tub, a dedicated GFCI breaker, a working thermostatic valve and a 20 minute fill with the door watertight. An installer cannot honestly initial those before the work is done, and the form also asks for the installation date.
Because there is no published deadline, waiting until the installer has run through the checklist costs you nothing. The practical sequence is:
- When the tub arrives, photograph the serial label behind the magnetic access panel and keep it with your receipt.
- When the installer finishes, ask them to go through the 16 checks with you and sign the installer page on the spot. This is the easiest moment to get the signature.
- Sign the owner page, attach the receipt and the installer's license and insurance information, and submit at ellasbubbles.com/warranty-activation/.
- Afterward, confirm it is on file through ellasbubbles.com/support or (800) 480-6850.
When the Form Itself Gets in the Way
Older tub labels and paperwork carry a register link or QR code that no longer resolves. Type ellasbubbles.com/warranty-activation/ directly into your browser instead. If the online form refuses a date, rejects an email address or shows an unable to submit message, switch to another browser or device and try once more, and if only the installation date is refused, leave it blank and submit the rest. If it still fails, download the two page form, complete and sign it with your installer, photograph or scan both pages, and send them through a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support for manual activation. Mail and fax options are printed on the form itself if you prefer paper. Warranty Activation Troubleshooting walks through each of those errors one at a time.
