If you sold or installed an Ella walk-in tub for a customer, you can activate the warranty in that customer's name. Open the warranty activation form on ellasbubbles.com, which is linked at the bottom of every page, enter the customer as the owner and your company as the installer, and submit it. No receipt number or dealer login is needed to open the form. The activation is complete only once both the owner section and the installer section are filled in and signed and a copy of the sales receipt is included. The customer can also submit the form themselves, as long as your installer details and signature are on it. The warranty activation overview explains why this step puts the warranty in force.
What the Activation Form Asks for
The form has two parts. The owner part asks for the customer's contact details and the installation address. The installer part asks for the installing company's details and a sign-off on the installation checkpoints. Both parts carry a signature line, and the form also asks for the tub's model and serial number. Because the warranty belongs to the first owner at the original installation address, enter the customer's name and the address where the tub was installed, never your shop address. The warranty activation form article walks through every field.
Submitting It in Your Customer's Name
- Find the tub's serial number. It is printed on the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door. The model and serial number guide shows exactly where to look.
- Open the warranty activation page from the footer of ellasbubbles.com and enter the customer's details in the owner section.
- Enter your company's details in the installer section and complete the checkpoint sign-off.
- Sign as the installer, have the customer sign the owner section, and include a copy of the sales receipt. If the customer prefers, complete your part and let them sign and submit.
- Submit the form. If the page will not accept it, the activation troubleshooting article covers the old register link, QR code problems, missing serial numbers and common form errors.
Purchase Amount and Customer Emails
The form includes a purchase amount field. That figure goes into the warranty record only, and it is not printed on anything Ella sends to the customer. Entering the customer's email on the form does not add them to Ella's automated email follow-ups either. Order follow-up emails go to whoever placed the order, so a customer who bought through you will not start receiving messages simply because you registered their tub.
If the Installer Left Without Signing
Sometimes an installing crew finishes the job before the warranty paperwork is done. The installer section still needs to be completed and signed by the installing company, because the warranty terms call for both the owner's and the installer's sign-off. Contact the company that did the work; they have the serial number and the installation details. When a tub was ordered under a dealer's name, Ella may not find it under the customer's phone number, which is one more reason the serial number matters. If you bought through a dealer and cannot reach them, call (800) 480-6850 with whatever paperwork you have and the team will help you get the record straightened out. The article on how the warranty works when you bought through a dealer explains who Ella has on file in that situation.
