Yes. Replacement parts are available for every genuine Ella walk-in tub, including units built years ago and tubs bought secondhand, and they come from Ella's Bubbles no matter where the tub was purchased. Parts are matched to the serial number on the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door, and when a tub has no paperwork at all, support can usually confirm the model from photos and exterior measurements, as described in Is My Unbranded Walk-In Tub an Ella, and Which Model Is It?. Open a request at ellasbubbles.com/support or call (800) 480-6850 with the serial number and a clear photo of the part you need.
What Is Available for an Older or Secondhand Tub
Ella's Bubbles has updated many parts and specifications over the years, so the current spec sheet for a model may not match a unit built several years ago in every detail. That does not mean the part is gone. Replacement parts are often still available for older units, and a clear photo of the part you need is the most reliable way for support to match it, because the photo shows the exact version fitted to your tub rather than the version on today's drawing. Older tubs sometimes carry a short letter-and-number code on the crate or paperwork instead of a current model name, and support can translate those codes to the current model.
A secondhand tub changes who pays, not whether parts exist. The Lifetime Limited Warranty is extended to the first purchaser at the original installation address and is nontransferable, so a tub that changed owners or moved to another address is outside the warranty, as explained in Is my walk-in tub warranty transferable if I move or sell my home?. What continues for every Ella tub, whoever owns it, is free lifetime technical support by phone, email and live video, and access to replacement parts matched to the serial number, including door seals. The manuals, cleaning instructions, specifications and how-to videos also stay available on the Downloads tab of each model's product page.
Find the Serial Number Before You Ask
The serial number is the one piece of information that unlocks everything else, and the video on this page shows where it is: on the inside of one of the removable panels. On current tubs that is the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door. From that number the team can see when the tub was made, who made it and which replacement parts are compatible, which is exactly the question a parts request needs answered.
- Copy the whole label rather than one line. One of the numbers is often the manufacture date printed as a date, and people sometimes send that thinking it is the serial number. The serial number is a separate number printed next to it.
- Photograph the label as well as writing it down, so the team can read the full print.
- If there is no label, or you cannot read it, move on to the measurements and photos below. The model can still be confirmed without it.
Ordering a Part with No Order Number
If you inherited the tub with a house or bought it used, there is no order number to quote and no invoice to check. The identification route works instead, and it is the same route the team uses for any unlabeled tub.
- Measure the exterior length, width and height of the tub in inches. Ella models are identified by these sizes, and a match to a listed model is the fastest confirmation.
- Note the door: does it swing inward into the tub or outward into the room, and is it on the left or the right as you face the tub?
- Photograph the whole tub from the front, the door and its latches, the control buttons or dial, the faucet, the drain area and the label. If you can reach the underside through an access panel, photograph the pump, the blower and any tags on them.
- Photograph the part you need, or the empty spot where it belongs, from close up and in good light.
- Send everything through ellasbubbles.com/support and say what you need next, whether that is a manual, a spec sheet or a specific part.
Support compares the photos and dimensions against the lineup. When the tub matches a model, support confirms it and sends the link to that model's product page, where the manual and spec sheet live. If the original order can be located, it also shows which therapy systems the tub was built with, which narrows down pumps, controls and jet parts without guesswork. Only once the model and serial number are settled is a part matched and sent.
Warranty Part or Paid Part
Parts fall into two groups, and the team confirms which applies before anything ships.
- A part covered by the Lifetime Limited Warranty ships at no charge after verification to the first purchaser at the original installation address, provided the warranty was activated, and the coverage is for parts only. Ella's Bubbles does not send technicians: the part ships under the warranty, and a local licensed plumber or electrician does the labor, with free technical support available to guide them.
- A part outside the warranty, which includes any part for a secondhand or relocated tub, is billed, with its own invoice and a receipt emailed after payment. Keep that invoice, because it governs any return. Paid parts and accessories can be returned within the published 30-day window only when they are brand new, uninstalled, in their original packaging and authorized before they ship back, as laid out in Can I return replacement parts or accessories I ordered separately from Ella?.
Where the tub was bought matters for one situation only. If you purchased through Home Depot, Amazon, Menards, another retailer or a dealer, that seller owns the order itself, so anything missing or damaged on arrival is reported to the seller, and the seller's return policy applies to parts and accessories bought through them. Warranty, technical support, manuals and replacement parts for the tub come from Ella's Bubbles in every case, as Buying Through Home Depot, Amazon, or Menards vs Direct From Ella explains. A new tub that seems to be missing an item is a different question from a replacement part: check the invoice and every package on the pallet first, following Tub Arrived Without a Headrest, Grab Bar or Other Accessory? Check the Invoice and the Pallet First, because support compares your report against the packing-station photos taken before the order left.
What to Have Ready When You Ask
- The serial number, or a note that the label is missing.
- The model name if you know it, or the exterior measurements in inches and the door details if you do not.
- Close photos of the part you need and of where it fits.
- A short description of the problem the part is meant to fix.
- Your order details from where you purchased, if you have them. A second owner can simply say the tub came with the house.
With those in hand the request moves quickly, and the right part for your exact tub is identified rather than a near match from a newer drawing.
