The Diagram Linked from Many Product Pages

The drawing is a system schematic rather than a dimension drawing. It shows every powered component in the Air + Hydro package, how each one connects to the control box, and the path that water and air travel to reach the jets. Because the same package is offered on both the stainless steel inward-swing door family and the outward-swing door family, one diagram serves many models. Jet counts are not printed here; the legend says to "Refer to Technical drawing for jet Count," so use your model's spec sheet for the exact number of seat and foot jets. A printed disclaimer on the page reads: "Please View Specifications for Electrical Amperage (A), Voltage (V) and Wattage (W)."

The air massage pump is a variable speed blower. On the push control, one press gives high speed, a second press medium, a third press low, and a fourth press turns it off. About 20 minutes after you turn the air pump off, the Auto Purge starts on its own and runs for 120 seconds to blow leftover water out of the air lines. Load 1 and Load 2 on the Control Box

The Electronic Component Controller is drawn as a control box with two labeled outputs, Load 1 and Load 2. Each pump plugs into the box as a separate 110V load, and the box switches them on and off through relays when you press the deck controls. This is why one working massage and one silent massage usually points to a single load: the box is alive, but one pump, cord, or relay is not responding. Water Path and Air Path

The two therapies never share plumbing. On the hydro side, the hydro pump pulls water from the tub and pushes it "Out To Hydro Jets," through the In-Line Water Heater, and on to the hydro jets. The heater sits between the pump output and the jets and is wired through the control box, so it only runs while the hydro pump runs; it maintains the temperature of the circulating water rather than heating a still tub. The Ozone Generator is drawn with an arrow labeled "Ozone Out to Hydro System," meaning ozone is injected into that same hydro loop for sanitation. On the air side, the Air Pump sends air through an Air Hose labeled "Air Out to Jets" to the separate air jets. A second Air Hose runs from the Air Flow Hydro Massage Intensity Dial Control to the hydro system, which is how turning the dial changes the feel of the hydro jets by mixing in air.

Deck Push Controls Shown

At the top of the drawing you will find the controls that live on the tub deck: three push controls labeled Hydro Massage, LED Light, and Air Massage, plus the Air Flow Hydro Massage Intensity Dial Control. Each push control is a simple On/Off button that signals the control box. The dial is not electrical at all; it is an air control on an air hose. Electrical Printed on the Diagram

The wall outlet is printed as GFCI Protected, Dedicated Line, 20 AMP, 120 Volts. Every powered component is marked Electrical 110V, and the Air Pump carries its own rating of 110-120 V, 4.5 A. For amperage of the hydro pump, heater, ozone generator, and LED light, the drawing sends you to the spec sheet. Two ratings are worth keeping separate: the LED chromatherapy light is 0.5A and runs on its own transformer and control, while ozone sterilization is 0.04A. First Checks When Nothing Runs

  1. Confirm the outlet is a dedicated 20 amp, 120 volt GFCI circuit and that the GFCI has not tripped. Press reset on the receptacle or breaker.
  2. Remove the access panel and look for the green power light on the control box. No light means the box is not receiving power.
  3. Check that the air pump and hydro pump cords are plugged into the control box loads and that each connector is fully seated. The article on cords, control boxes and connections after install shows what the connections should look like.
  4. Press each deck button once and listen for its pump. One silent pump with the other running points to that pump's cord, relay, or the pump itself.

Common Questions

Does the Air + Hydro package need one outlet or two?
This diagram prints a single wall outlet: GFCI Protected, Dedicated Line, 20 AMP, 120 Volts. Both pumps, the heater, the ozone generator, and the LED light run from the control box on that one line. Packages that add microbubble therapy use a second dedicated line, which their own diagrams show.
Why does my tub keep blowing air after I turn the air massage off?
That is the Auto Purge built into the variable speed air pump. About 20 minutes after you switch the air pump off it starts automatically and runs for 120 seconds to clear water from the air lines, which helps prevent mold and mildew. It cannot be interrupted and stops on its own.
What are Load 1 and Load 2 on the control box?
They are the two switched outputs on the Electronic Component Controller. Each pump is a separate 110V load plugged into the box, and the relays inside turn each one on when you press its deck button. If only one therapy runs, look at that load's cord and connection first.
Does the in-line water heater turn on by itself?
No. The heater is plumbed between the hydro pump and the hydro jets and wired through the control box, so it only operates while the hydro massage is running. It maintains the temperature of the water circulating through the jets rather than heating a still tub.
Where does the ozone go, and do I control it?
The Ozone Generator is drawn with the label "Ozone Out to Hydro System," so ozone is injected into the hydro loop while the hydro pump runs. No ozone push control appears on the deck; it works in the background as part of the sanitation system.
Which document should I trust for amperage, the diagram or the spec sheet?
The diagram itself says to view the specifications for amperage, voltage, and wattage. Use your model's spec sheet for pump and heater ratings, and remember that the LED chromatherapy light is 0.5A while ozone sterilization is 0.04A.
