Bought Through a Dealer or Installer? How Your Ella Warranty Works

Many Ella's Bubbles walk-in tubs reach their owners through dealers, remodelers, and installation companies, and those partners often handle everything from the sale to the finished bathroom. Your manufacturer's warranty, however, comes from Ella's Bubbles directly, and it works the same way no matter where you purchased. This article explains whose name the warranty is registered in, what your dealer's own promises cover, and who files a claim when something needs attention.

Whose Name Is the Warranty in?

The Lifetime Limited Warranty is extended to the first purchaser and applies only to the original owner at the original installation address. When a dealer or installer sells you the tub, the warranty protects you, the customer using the tub at the address where it was installed. The Warranty Activation Form records your name and contact information in its owner section, along with the model, serial number, purchase date, and place of purchase, which is where your dealer's name appears.

Activating the Warranty After a Dealer Installation

Activation puts the warranty in force, and it takes both signatures:

  1. Complete the two-page Warranty Activation Form, signed by both you and your installer.
  2. Include a copy of your sales receipt and your installer's electrician license and insurance information.
  3. Submit it online at ellasbubbles.com/warranty-activation/, or by email to [email protected], by fax to 1-312-666-3551, or by mail to Ella's Bubbles, LLC, Warranty Department, 2101 S. Carpenter St., Chicago, IL 60608.

We recommend completing activation promptly after installation. If your dealer or installer did not take care of it at install time, there is no need to worry: you can complete the form now, and our team can help you gather what is needed. Dealer Promises and the Ella Warranty Are Separate Things

The published warranty states that Ella's Bubbles "reserves the sole authority to make any type of warranties or representations concerning its products and will not be responsible for any warranties or representations made by any outside source including dealers, retailers, distributors or contractors." In practice, this means the coverage described on ellasbubbles.com/warranty/ is exactly what Ella provides. If your dealer offered anything beyond it, such as a labor warranty, service visits, or an extended term, those are your dealer's own commitments. They can be genuinely valuable, and we simply encourage you to get them in writing from the dealer, since Ella's Bubbles cannot administer or honor them on a dealer's behalf.

Labor Coverage Comes from Your Installer

The Ella warranty covers parts, not labor. The independent contractor or dealer crew that installed your tub warrants their own workmanship, so questions about installation quality or repair labor go to them. Ella's Bubbles supports that work with free lifetime technical support, guiding your installer by phone, email, or live video whenever they need us.

Who Files a Warranty Claim?

Either of you can. Many dealers and installers contact us on behalf of their customers, and we welcome that, since they often have the serial number and photos on hand. You are also always free to reach us yourself. Either way, a claim needs photos of the affected part, a description of the problem, the tub's serial number, and the contact and shipping details, and verified replacement parts ship to the original customer's address without charge. Email [email protected] or call 800-480-6850, and see How do I start a warranty claim for my Ella walk-in tub? for the step-by-step process.
