What Has to Be True for Orders to Ship Together

1. Both items must be ready at the same time. An in-stock unit can be held until a built-to-order or backordered unit is finished, but the whole shipment waits for the slowest item.
2. The request has to come before the first order ships. Once a pallet has been released to the carrier, the second order ships separately when it is available.
3. The delivery details must match. Confirm whether the address is residential and whether liftgate service is needed, because those affect how the combined load is billed and delivered.
4. Invoicing is your choice. Orders that ship together can be placed on one invoice or kept on separate invoices, so tell the team which you prefer.

Waiting Versus Shipping Separately

The trade-off is timing. Ella tubs are assembled and tested to order, so if one unit is in stock and the other is not yet built, combining them means the in-stock unit waits. The team will tell you the current status of each order so you can decide. If your installer is scheduled for the first tub, it is often better to let it ship on its own and accept a second freight charge. If you would rather receive everything at the same time, say so and the earlier order will be held. Ella can only combine items that Ella is shipping. The freight carriers the team works with do not combine an Ella shipment with a purchase from a different company, and Ella cannot take responsibility for another vendor's goods. If you are coordinating deliveries from several companies, plan for the tub to arrive on its own shipment.

How Shipping Is Calculated on a Combined Order

Freight is calculated on weight, distance, and services such as liftgate or residential delivery, which is described in how freight delivery works. A proposal shows an estimated shipping figure, and when orders are added or merged the invoice reflects the actual freight for what ships.
