This page explains the two component diagrams Ella's Bubbles publishes for the hydro massage package on the Standard, Flow and Zen: hydro-stand-flow.pdf (Hydro Therapeutic Massage, revision 10-16-23) and hydro-Heat-stand-flow.pdf (Hydro Therapeutic Massage + Heated Seat & Back + Ozone, revision 12-23-25), both in the /walk-in-tub/schematics/ folder. It also covers a third file, lay-down-hydro-heat.pdf, whose name does not match its contents, and reads the diagrams alongside the Ella Standard and Ella Flow spec sheets so the electrical figures line up.
Two Diagrams for the Economy Platform
The Standard, Flow and Zen share one hydro massage arrangement, and Ella's Bubbles draws it two ways. The plain hydro diagram prints "Available With: Ella Standard, Ella Flow". The hydro plus heated seat diagram prints "Available With: Ella Standard, Ella Flow, Ella Zen". If your order shows Hydro Massage with no heated seat option, use the first; if it shows the Heated Seat and Backrest option, use the second. Model-level details for each tub live on the Standard and Standard60 profile, the Flow profile and the Zen and Zen60 profile.
Hydro Therapeutic Massage: What Is on the Page
hydro-stand-flow.pdf is one of the simplest hydro diagrams in the set. Its legend prints two components:

The drawing shows a Push Control for Hydro Massage, an Air Flow Hydro Massage Intensity Dial Control connected by an Air Hose, a Relay Switch, the Hydro Pump, and the loop "Out, In-Line Water Heater, Out, To Hydro Jets, Hydro Jets". The pump and heater each carry an "Electrical 110V" tag. Note that the legend says "ON/OFF Digital Controller" while the drawing labels the control "Push Control"; either way it is the single on/off control for the hydro massage, and the intensity dial is an air control, not an electrical one. No ozone generator appears on this diagram.
Hydro + Heated Seat & Back + Ozone: The Added Components
hydro-Heat-stand-flow.pdf keeps the same hydro loop and adds four components, for six in total:

The Ozone Generator sends "Ozone Out to Hydro System", the same arrangement used on the other hydro diagrams. The heated seat is an entirely separate chain: a Heat Keypad, a Surface Heater Box, and Surface Heater Pads for the seat and backrest. Nothing in that chain touches the water. The in-line water heater keeps the bath warm while the jets run; the heater pads warm the surface you sit against. When a bather says "the heat is not working", the first question is which of the two they mean. The option itself is described on the heated seat and backrest page.
Where the Heat Keypad and Surface Heater Box Sit
On the drawing, the Heat Keypad is grouped with the hydro Push Control and the intensity dial, the three controls the bather uses. The Surface Heater Box is drawn among the powered components with an "Electrical 110V" tag, and the Surface Heater Pads are shown connected to it. The keypad tells the box to switch the pads on and off; the box is the component to name if the pads never warm up and the keypad is not the problem.
Electrical Printed on the Diagrams Versus the Flow Spec Sheet
Both diagrams print a single outlet block: "Wall Outlet, GFCI Protected, Dedicated Line, 20 AMP, 120 Volts", and both close with "Please View Specifications for Electrical Amperage (A), Voltage (V) and Wattage (W)". The spec sheets supply the component figures:

So the Standard's spec sheet and the diagram agree on a 20 AMP GFCI outlet. The Flow's spec sheet calls for a 15AMP GFCI outlet even though the shared diagram prints 20 AMP. Because the diagram itself tells you to view the specifications for amperage, the Flow spec sheet is the figure to give your electrician for a Flow, and your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 can confirm it against your order. A File Name to Know About
The schematics folder also holds lay-down-hydro-heat.pdf (revision 01-16-26). Despite the name, it prints "Hydro Therapeutic Massage + Heated Seat & Back" and "Available With: Ella Standard, Ella Flow, Ella Zen". Its content matches the hydro plus heated seat diagram above without the ozone generator: Hydro Massage System (with ON/OFF Digital Controller in the legend), In-Line Water Heater, Surface Heater Box, Surface Heater Pads and Surface Key Pad, and one 20 AMP, 120 Volt GFCI protected dedicated line. If someone hands you that file for a LayDown question, check the printed title; the LayDown diagrams are the ones covered on the LayDown air massage and LayDown microbubble schematic pages.
How This Matches the Spec Sheet
The Standard spec sheet lists the hydro massage system as a hydro massage pump, an intensity dial air control, an in-line water heater, 18 jets and a push control. The Flow spec sheet lists the same pump, dial, heater and push control with 16 jets. Every one of those items appears on the diagram except the jet count, which the schematics never print. The Heated Seat and Backrest is listed as optional on both spec sheets, which is exactly why it appears only on the second diagram.
