The Ella Zen and Zen60 are our budget hydro-massage tubs, built on the Standard platform with a smaller seat, 17 hydro jets, and the 2-piece single-lever fast-fill faucet in place of the 5-piece set. Both use the inward-swing acrylic S-shape door.

- Zen60: 29 1/2 x 59 1/2 x 37.5 in; seat 21 x 17 in; 95 gallons unoccupied, 55 to 85 occupied; crate 32 x 62 x 49 in; net 190 lb, shipping 345 lb; no extension panel; two front access panels and one end panel for service.
How the Zen Differs from the Standard
- Seat 20 x 15 in versus 22 x 18 in; 17 jets versus 18.
- 2-piece single-lever faucet (up to 16 GPM) in chrome or brushed nickel versus the 5-piece set.
- Same 8.1A 900W pump, 6A 650W in-line heater, intensity dial, push control, U-shape deck and wall grab bar, towel bar, two front and one end access panels, and the same owner's manual.
The Door
The Zen and Zen60 use the inward-swing acrylic S-shape door, the same as the Standard. A "U-shape" note on the spec sheet is a known misprint; U-shape names our outward-swing composite door family. The handle is inside: enter, stand, close the door, then fill. Water pressure holds it shut, so never open it until the tub is fully drained.
Faucet, Drain, Electrical
- 2-piece faucet: lift the lever for on, left for hot, right for cold, and press the diverter button under the spout for the 1.9 GPM hand shower. Cut-outs 2-1/2 in, 1/3 in, and a 7/8 in diagonal hand-shower hole.
- One 2 in gravity drain with overflow and emergency pull chain on a T-type body with capped spare ports.
- One dedicated 20A 120V GFCI outlet; heated seat and backrest (4A) optional.
Auto Purge, Ozone, Foot Jets
Auto Purge belongs to air systems, and the Zen is hydro-only, so there is no purge cycle after a bath. The spec sheet lists no ozone generator; the monthly vinegar flush keeps the lines fresh. The lower jets massage feet and calves but run on the single hydro pump, so the tub must be filled above them; independent foot massage is not offered.
Common Questions
Air jets or a soaker? No, the Zen family is hydro-only and is not built without jets.
