Missing or Broken End Panel Clips and Mounting Blocks: How to Get Replacements

If the mounting blocks or clips that hold your end panel, extension panel or access panel are missing, broken or never arrived on the tub, Ella ships replacements by FedEx or UPS with tracking. On a registered tub within the parts warranty the hardware ships at no charge once support verifies the request. In other cases support tells you whether any charge applies before anything ships.

Which Hardware You Are Looking at

The mounting blocks are bonded to the tub shell and the clips attach to them; the panel then hangs on the clips and is secured with a few screws. The magnetic access panel by the door uses its own bottom clip. On a brand new tub, the brackets are often turned sideways for shipping and only look wrong, so read why new panel brackets look rotated before reporting them missing. If the front apron or its plastic brackets are cracked rather than absent, replacing a broken front apron or its brackets covers that case, and removing and reattaching the front apron shows how the pieces fit.

How to Request Replacements

  1. Photograph the edge of the panel and the side of the tub where it attaches, so support can see which blocks and clips are present and which are not.
  2. Include your model and serial number, and your invoice or purchase order number if the tub is new.
  3. Say which panel is affected, an end panel, an extension panel, the front apron or the access panel, and how many pieces you need. Ask for a spare or two if you want them on hand.
  4. Give the ship-to address and an attention name. Dealers can have the hardware sent directly to the installer.
  5. Open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support. Support replies with tracking once the parcel is picked up.

If you also need the white screw caps or trim that hide the panel screws, where to get the white screw caps and trim covers those separately.

Reattaching a Block That Came Off the Tub

When a mounting block has separated from the shell, it can be re-bonded with epoxy. Clean both surfaces, position the block where the old adhesive mark is, and let the epoxy cure fully before hanging the panel on it. Only the block is glued. The panel itself always stays removable so a plumber can reach the pump, drain and connections, which is why a panel must never be glued on.

Extension Panel Arms

Extension panels attach with their own mounting arms rather than the end panel clips. A replacement extension panel ships with new arms, and support can also ship the brackets alone if the panel is fine but the hardware is missing. Send the same photos and model information and say which side of the tub the extension goes on.

Common Questions

Is there a charge for replacement panel clips and blocks?
On a registered tub within the parts warranty the hardware ships free after support verifies the request. In other cases support tells you whether any charge applies before shipping, and if so a card is needed to process it.
What if my new tub arrived with no hardware to attach the end panel?
First check whether the brackets are simply rotated for shipping. If the blocks or clips are truly absent, send photos and your order number and support ships the blocks, clips and screws with tracking.
What glue should I use to reattach a mounting block?
Use epoxy on clean, dry surfaces and let it cure before loading it. Never glue the panel itself, because it must come off for service access.
Can I request a few extra clips to keep as spares?
Yes. Ask for the quantity you want when you open the ticket, and support includes them in the same parcel. Dealers with display tubs often keep a couple on hand.
Can a dealer have the clips shipped straight to the installer?
Yes. Give the installer's address, an attention name and a phone number with the purchase order or serial number of the tub. Support ships the hardware there and replies with the tracking number.
