Four-Fold Glass Shower Screen: Damaged Hardware, the Return Window and Why Panels Cannot Be Added

Returning a Shower Screen

A shower screen is an accessory covered by the same 30-day return policy as the tub. It must be uninstalled and in its original packaging, and a return must be authorized before anything is shipped back. After 30 days, or once the screen has been mounted, it can no longer be returned, so decide on the screen early and check its coverage against your tub length before installing it.

Why a Four-Fold Cannot Become a Five-Fold

Customers with a long tub sometimes ask for one more panel to close the remaining opening. Older screens could be extended, but the way the screens are structured has changed. They are now more rigid and limited to four panels. A middle panel cannot be inserted, and leftover panels from another screen are not sold for that purpose. When the Screen Is Shorter Than the Tub

On a tub whose top measures about 59 to 60 inches, the 44-inch screen leaves roughly 15 inches uncovered at one end.
