Yes, small shower door hardware can be replaced. Roller wheels and bearings, the top track, door knobs and the bottom aluminum frame are all parts the support team can locate and ship, and you receive a tracking number when the package leaves. The exception is the LayDown tub screen, where separate parts are limited and some pieces ship attached to the glass. Start with photos of what is missing or broken and your model or kit number, and open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support.
Parts That Can Be Replaced
- Roller wheels and bearings for framed sliding doors. These are universal within a model, so they fit any top rail for that door.
- The top track itself, if it arrived bent or pinched so the rollers cannot travel.
- Door knobs.
- The bottom aluminum frame on shower screens.
- Other door replacement parts, which the team checks for you on request.
Installation steps for these doors are in installing framed sliding shower doors and the Tidy two-panel screen.
Rollers: Why the Team Sends Wheels, Not Brackets
The roller bracket is fixed to the door and is very difficult to remove without risking the glass. If your door stopped rolling smoothly, for example after a damaged track scuffed the wheels, the team sends the bearings and roller wheels rather than the whole bracket assembly. Those swap onto the existing bracket. A short video of the door rolling helps the team see whether the wheels, the track or the alignment is the problem, and it is what they will ask for.
Before You Order: Check the Box and the Door
Some parts ship attached to the glass rather than loose in a bag. On the LayDown tub screens, for example, one component comes connected to the glass door and has to be separated before installation, so a part that seems missing may still be on the door. Check the packing list against every piece, including anything attached to the glass, before reporting it missing. If a top track looks damaged, send a clear photo of the damaged area, because the team compares your photo with a new track before shipping one.
What the Team Needs
- Photos of the missing or broken piece, and the part number from the assembly drawing if you have it.
- The kit or model number from the box label.
- Where it was purchased and the receipt. Doors bought through Home Depot or another retailer are supported too, as explained in support for retailer purchases.
- The shipping address.
A part that is damaged or missing when you unpack the shipment should be reported within 48 hours of receipt through ellasbubbles.com/support, with all packaging kept, because shipping damage is handled as a freight claim. A part lost on site after the box was opened, or a part that broke in use, can still be supplied. Contact your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 and they will confirm the part and arrange it with you. Either way, you receive the tracking number by email when it ships. Ella does not send technicians, so your installer fits the part.
