Water is getting past the door because the 4-fold shower screen is sitting too far out on the tub deck. The screen must be mounted on the inside edge of the deck, the inner lip closest to the bathing well, especially where it passes over the door. Why Placement Matters More Than the Seal

The door seal is designed to hold back the water inside the bathing well. The narrow area between the door edge and the tub deck, outside the seal, is not meant to take water. When the screen sits outboard of the inner lip, spray that hits the panels runs down the screen and lands in that gap instead of back in the tub. From there it follows the door jamb down to the floor. Checking the Screen Position

1. Fold the screen fully open across the tub and look at where the bottom edge sits on the deck. It should follow the inner lip of the deck along its full length, with no panel drifting toward the outer edge.
2. Pay closest attention to the panels over the door and on the hinge side. Any panel that sits outboard here directs water straight into the door gap.
3. Look at the last two panels, the ones furthest from the wall. These are the panels support will ask to see in photos, because how they sit when the screen is opened decides where the water goes.
4. Run the jets with the screen in place and watch where the spray goes. Water should return to the bathing well, not run down the outside face of the door.
