Which Tubs This Diagram Lists

The "Available With" box prints Monaco, Royal, Transfer 32, Transfer 60, and XXL. As on the other Ella schematics, "XXL" is the short form for the TransferXXL. The legend along the bottom of the diagram lists seven components. They are reproduced below exactly as printed.

Compared with the plain Hydro + Hydro Foot diagram, this sheet adds item 3, the Infusion Microbubbles system, and renumbers the supporting electronics after it. The count of pumps rises to three: two hydro pumps and one microbubble water pump.

Seat and Foot Hydro Circuits

The two hydro systems are drawn much as they are on the diagram without microbubbles, which means they remain fully independent of each other and of the microbubble system.

  1. Seat circuit: the Hydro Massage push control and its Air Flow Hydro Massage Intensity Dial Control feed a Relay Switch, which starts the Seat Jets Hydro Pump. Water flows Out, To Hydro Jets, and into the seat Hydro Jets. The Ozone Generator's "Ozone Out to Hydro System" line joins this circuit, so ozone sanitizes the seat hydro plumbing.
  2. Foot circuit: a second Air Flow Hydro Massage Intensity Dial Control and the foot ON/OFF button feed a second Relay Switch, which starts the Foot Jets Hydro Pump. From the pump, water flows Out, To Hydro Jets, through the In-Line Water Heater, and on to the foot Hydro Jets.

The in-line water heater therefore sits in the foot loop on this diagram. It maintains the temperature of water already in the tub while the foot pump circulates, and it is not part of the seat circuit or the microbubble circuit. Each hydro system keeps its own dial, so you can set a gentle seat massage and a firmer foot massage at the same time. Read more in independent foot massage explained.

The Microbubble Circuit

The microbubble path is the new chain on this drawing, and it is drawn along the bottom of the sheet.

  1. The Infusion Microbubbles Push Control sends the ON signal to its own Relay Switch.
  2. The relay powers the Water Pump, which draws tub water in through its "Water in" line.
  3. The pump sends that water into the MicroBubbles Pressure Tank, printed in the legend as the Pressure Vessel.
  4. From the tank, the line labeled "Micro Bubbles Out to Jet" returns the water to the tub through the microbubble jet, where the cloud of tiny bubbles is released.

Because the microbubble system has its own pump, relay, and push control, it runs whether or not either hydro pump is on. The pressure vessel is what sets microbubble therapy apart from ordinary jets: water passes through the tank under pressure before it returns to the tub, and that is how the tiny bubbles are produced at the jet. The individual component branches are marked "Electrical 110V", and the footer repeats the standard note: "Please View Specifications for Electrical Amperage (A), Voltage (V) and Wattage (W)." Give your electrician both this schematic and the spec sheet for your model, since the schematic sets the number and protection of the circuits while the spec sheet lists each pump's amperage. The drawing shows only these two outlets serving three pumps, a heater, and the electronics, which is why the dedicated-line requirement matters even more on this package.
