Ella's Bubbles does not take deposits or partial payments on a walk-in tub order. The confirmation invoice is paid in full, and the tub is assembled and tested to order once payment is complete. If you are waiting on funds, you can still place the order now. You receive a confirmation invoice to review, you respond to it when your money is available, and placing the order secures the unit so the configuration you chose does not go out of stock while you wait.
Why There Is No Deposit Option
Every Ella tub is built and tested to order, and the invoice is paid in full before the tub ships. There is no partial-payment or layaway arrangement. A proposal sets out the configuration and pricing, and placing the order is what secures a unit. If you have questions about how a proposal differs from an order, Placing Your Order walks through proposals, confirmation invoices and expiration dates. If you need to spread the cost, financing is the route rather than a deposit, and Financing Your Walk-In Tub explains how to apply.
Placing the Order While You Wait for Funds
Customers often want to lock in a tub before their money arrives. The support team's answer is to place the order now rather than wait, because the confirmation invoice can sit until you are ready to respond to it.
- Call your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 and give the number on your proposal so the exact configuration carries over.
- A confirmation invoice is sent to you. Review the model, door side, options and delivery details on it.
- Respond to the confirmation invoice when your funds are available and pay it in full.
- Once the invoice is paid, the current pricing is locked in and the tub is scheduled for assembly and testing. The shipping steps in Shipping, Sales Tax, and Pickup follow.
Placing the order this way secures your tub in a specific door side or faucet finish that may be in limited supply, so it is not sold to someone else while you wait.
When an Option Is Back Ordered
If one item on your order, such as a faucet finish, is temporarily unavailable, the invoice still must be paid in full before anything ships. After payment you have two choices. The team can hold the whole tub until the back-ordered item arrives and ship everything together, or ship the tub now and send the item separately when it becomes available. The support team confirms current timing for your specific order, since it varies by model, options and stock.
Funding That Arrives After Purchase
Because the invoice must be paid in full, plan for any outside money to come after the purchase, not before. Ella does not bill Medicare, insurance or the VA directly. Customers who pursue reimbursement buy the tub first and then submit their own claim, as described in Will Medicare, Insurance, or the VA Pay for My Walk-In Tub?. The same applies to a medical expense deduction, which is claimed at tax time after the tub is bought and installed. See the IRS medical expense deduction article for details.
