Ella's Bubbles does not offer white glove delivery. Every walk-in tub ships with curbside delivery with liftgate service, which means the freight carrier lowers the crate to the ground at the curb and moving it from there is up to you and your installer. If you need the crate carried past the curb, into a garage, onto a patio or into a room, inside delivery can often be arranged as an added carrier service for an additional charge. The team confirms the charge with the carrier and adds it to your order only after you, or the dealer who placed your order, approve it.
White Glove Versus Inside Delivery
White glove delivery generally means a crew unpacks the product, places it in the room and removes the packaging. Ella does not offer that service for tubs. Inside delivery is narrower: the carrier moves the crate from the truck to an agreed spot on your property, such as inside the garage. It does not include placing the tub in the bathroom or any installation work, and it is not available from every carrier or at every address. Your installer still handles moving the tub into the bathroom and setting it. What curbside delivery with liftgate includes describes the standard service.
How to Request Inside Delivery
- Ask before the tub ships. Mention it when you confirm the order, or at the latest before you authorize shipment. Once the tub is on the truck, adding services is far harder.
- Describe the route in detail. Gates, side entrances, distance from the truck, steps and their height, stairs, and the surfaces the crate will cross such as concrete, tile or carpet. Say whether you want the crate unpacked at the drop point.
- Name an on-site contact. Give the name and phone number of the person who will meet the truck and direct the drivers, often your contractor. For a gated community, include the gate address and any entry instructions.
- Approve the charge. The team confirms the carrier's charge for your specific delivery and sends it to you, or to your dealer if the order was placed through one. Nothing is added until it is approved.
- Authorize shipment. Once the delivery details and the charge are confirmed, tell the team to release the tub.
Why There Is No Standard Inside Delivery Charge
Inside delivery is set by the carrier for each delivery, based on how far the crate travels and what obstacles are in the way. Rolling a crate a few feet into an open garage is very different from carrying it through a side gate, across a patio, up a step and into a bedroom. That is why the team asks detailed route questions first and why no figure is published. Ask, decide, and confirm before the tub ships.
Alternatives If Inside Delivery Is Not Available
If the carrier cannot offer inside delivery at your address, there are other ways to avoid a crate sitting at the curb. Have your contractor present at delivery to receive the tub and move it in with a dolly and a helper. Ask to ship the tub to your installer's shop instead of your home. If the bathroom is not ready, ask whether Ella can hold the tub at the warehouse until it is. Customers near Chicago can also arrange pickup instead of freight delivery.
