How It Works

The molded seat on Ella tubs is about 17 inches high and is not adjustable, so the riser is the way to sit higher. Suction cups hold it to the seat; no drilling or adhesive touches your tub. The standard riser covers the seat area, while the cutout version leaves the bidet area open so the air jets keep working. The cutout riser fits one way and is not reversible, so orient the opening over the jets. A 6 inch riser is available for the Ultimate, but it covers the seat jets and is made to order. The Transfer60 takes the seat riser but has no separate back cushion, and the Ultimate has the made-to-order 6 inch riser as well as the standard one. Suction cups hold only on a clean, flat, smooth section of the shell, so clean the seat and the cups with soap and water, dry the cups, and press them flat, away from jets, texture lines and the seat edge.
