Ella's walk-in tub comfort accessories are the patented 360 degree removable swivel tray, seat pillow risers with or without a bidet cutout, seat cushions, and headrest pillows. Which one fits depends on the door family: the swivel tray is designed for the stainless inward-swing deck and is not compatible with the Ultra or the Transfer30, while the risers and pillows fit the Elite and most seated tubs. Check the lists below, and share your model and serial number with your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 so the right shape is matched to your seat.

Swivel Tray

The swivel tray pins into a threaded fitting near the door on the stainless inward-swing deck.
  • Standard on the Elite, Royal, Deluxe, and Ultimate and on the two-seat Companion and Escape.
  • Not listed for the Petite, and our team confirms it is not compatible with the Ultra or the Transfer30; the tray is designed for the stainless inward-swing deck.
  • The tray is 8.5 by 8.5 inches with a 2 inch pin on one corner. Slide the pin into the threaded fitting near the door, screw the cap on to secure it, and unscrew and lift to remove; a cap covers the fitting when the tray is off. It rotates out of the way for entry and exit.
  • A tray can interfere with a glass shower screen, so plan the screen position accordingly (see installing glass shower screens).
  • Replacement trays and the tray plug are arranged through your Ella dealer or the team with your model and serial number.

Seat Pillow Riser

The jet-cutout riser is U-shaped so the bidet air jets still flow; the standard riser is a full rectangle.
  • Adds height, in a standard version or a U-shape with a bidet cutout so the bidet air jets still flow; the cutout version fits one way and is not reversible. It is moderately soft foam, about 20 1/2 inches long by 13 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high.
  • A 6 inch riser is available for the Ultimate but covers the seat jets and is made to order, so ask the team about timing.
  • Risers fit the Elite and most seated tubs; the Transfer60 has the seat riser but no separate back cushion.

Seat Cushions For Your Walk-In-Tub

Cushions and Pillows

  • Optional seat cushions are offered on the Front Entry.
  • The head and neck pillow mounts to the extension panel or the wall with suction cups; the seat pillow lets air and water pass through.
  • Suction cups hold only on a flat, smooth section of the shell. Clean the acrylic and the cups with soap and water, dry the cups, and press them on away from jets, texture lines and the seat edge. Replacement cups and pillows are covered in headrest and pillow suction cups.
  • If the seat feels too low or too high before you buy, seat sizes and soaking depth gives the measurements by model.

Adding Accessories to an Installed Tub

The swivel tray, seat pillows and risers, the head pillow, the 4-fold screen, the shower column kit, the hand shower slide bar, extra end panels and add-on grab bars can all be added after the tub is in. What cannot be added later are the built-in systems such as therapy packages, jets, the heated seat and the aromatherapy plumbing. I cannot stand up from the seat easily. What helps?
A seat pillow riser adds about 3 1/2 inches of height to the seat, making it easier to stand up. Please share your walk-in tub model and serial number with your Ella dealer or the support team so the correct shape can be matched to your seat. If your tub has bidet air jets in the seat, choose the U-shaped jet-cutout version of the riser so the bidet air jets still flow.
How do I get a replacement tray or cushion for my tub?
To get a replacement swivel tray, seat pillow riser, or seat cushion for your Ella's Bubbles walk-in tub, please contact your Ella dealer or the support team at (800) 480-6850. You can also open a support ticket with your walk-in tub model and serial number. The team will confirm the correct accessory before it ships to ensure it fits your specific tub.
How does the 360 swivel tray mount?
The 360-degree swivel tray mounts by sliding its 2-inch corner pin into a threaded fitting located near the door on the stainless inward-swing deck. A cap then screws on to secure the tray in place. To remove the tray for cleaning, simply unscrew the cap and lift the tray out; a cap is provided to cover the fitting when the tray is off.
Does the swivel tray fit the Petite, Ultra or Transfer tubs?
The 360-degree swivel tray is not compatible with the Petite, Ultra, or Transfer30 walk-in tubs. It is specifically designed for the stainless inward-swing deck found on the Elite, Royal, Deluxe, Ultimate, Companion, and Escape models. The swivel tray is a standard feature on the Elite, Royal, Deluxe, Ultimate, Companion, and Escape tubs.
Do you sell non-slip mats or hair traps?
Ella's Bubbles does not sell non-slip mats or hair traps. The floor of Ella's walk-in tubs is already textured to provide some slip resistance. Non-slip mats and hair traps are commonly available items at hardware stores. If you use a rubber mat, remember to remove it after each use to prevent it from marking the acrylic surface of your tub.
How is a seat belt bracket mounted?
A seat belt bracket is mounted below the seat using drilled fasteners, and adhesive should never be used for this installation. It is important to ask the Ella's Bubbles support team before drilling any holes to ensure the location does not affect your tub's warranty. The pillow suction cups keep letting go. Can I get new ones?
Yes, replacement suction cups and headrest pillows are available if your pillow suction cups keep letting go. First, ensure both the acrylic surface of the tub and the suction cups are clean and dry, then press the cups onto a flat, smooth section of the shell, away from jets, texture lines, and the seat edge. If they still fail, replacement cups and pillows can be obtained as covered in Headrest and pillow suction cups.
Is there a back cushion for the Transfer60?
The Transfer60 walk-in tub is designed to accommodate a seat pillow riser, which adds height to the seat. However, there is no separate back cushion specifically offered for the Transfer60 model at this time. The seat riser for the Transfer60 is a standard feature.
Can the seat cushion be used on another brand of walk-in tub?
Ella's Bubbles seat cushions and risers are sized specifically for Ella walk-in tub seats. If you wish to use a seat cushion on another brand of walk-in tub, you should compare the published dimensions of the Ella cushion (about 20 1/2 inches long by 13 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high) with the dimensions of your tub's seat before ordering. You can also send a photo to the Ella's Bubbles team for them to check compatibility.
Is there padding for the seat, and a pad for the back?
Two seat cushions are offered, both 20 inches wide by 13 inches deep and about 3 1/2 inches high in gray: a straight bench style and a U shaped version with a cutout for the bidet air jets. They are closed foam inside a washable waterproof vinyl casing, can be submerged, compress somewhat when sat on, and two can be stacked for more lift. No separate back pad is offered.
Which pillow fits, and is there a seat for the LayDown?
Headrest pillows come in two sizes and attach with two suction cups; the small one is about 10 inches. A folding bath seat is offered for the LayDown so a bather can sit and soak the feet without lying down.
