The Capri tour shows a 20 inch seat width, a 14 inch seat length, 24 inches of shoulder room and nearly 42 inches of interior length. It makes a fit point that is easy to miss: the outward-swing door needs about 21 inches of clear floor in front of the tub to open, so plan that space in front of the door side. It shows the three-shaft lock, the independent foot massage system with its own pump and intensity dial, the 5-piece fast-fill faucet with hand shower, the in-line water heater, chromatherapy, dual 2 inch drains and the optional four-fold screen and shower column. The Mobile is the compact model for small bathrooms. The video gives 45 inches long and nearly 26 inches wide, a 19 inch seat width, a 13 inch seat length and a 36 inch interior length, then shows the exterior dimensions on screen. It demonstrates the outward-swing U-shaped door with its three-latch gear and shaft lock, the low threshold and textured floor, three-speed air massage with 14 air jets and auto purge, hydro massage with 15 jets, an intensity dial and foot jets, chromatherapy with the dual package, the 2-piece fast-fill faucet in chrome or brushed nickel with hand shower, the in-line heater, ozone, and the single oversized 2 inch drain with a large turn opener and an emergency pull chain. The current spec drawing agrees on the footprint, 45 inches overall length and 26 inches overall width, and adds a 39 1/4 inch height, a 165 degree door swing and a 19 1/4 inch door opening. This is a customer clip, not a spec tour, and it answers one question well: does a very tall bather fit? The bather, who says he is 6 feet 10 inches tall, describes being able to stretch out his legs for the first time in a tub in 22 years and enjoying the foot, calf and back massage. Treat it as proof of fit only; the numbers live on the ShaK spec sheet, which gives 36 by 72 by 39 inches, a 28 inch seat width, 145 gallons unoccupied and a shipping size of 39 by 74 by 49 inches at 429 pounds crated. Video 4: Big4One Installation Tips

This installer video uses the Big4One, but the lessons apply to the whole outward-swing family. It shows a remodel where walls come down and the old tub comes out, then a fresh look at drain, water supply and electrical. The end panels, side panels and aprons come off before the tub is carried in. The tub is leveled on its adjustable legs, because an unlevel tub means a door that will not seal and can leak. The dual T-type four-port drains can use all four ports or two with the unused side capped; the installer shows individual P-traps and the connection to the main, with a 2 inch main recommended, though a T or Y into a 1.5 inch drain works. Accessible shut-off valves go near the tub with 3/4 inch supply lines, dedicated circuits get GFCI outlets and breakers, and access panels are designed into the remodel for future service.
