The Ella ShaK 36x72 is the largest single-seat walk-in tub we make, designed for athletes, bariatric bathers, and people about 6 ft 4 and taller. The spec sheet lists an actual size of 36 inches wide by 72 inches long by 39 inches high, a 28 inch seat, and 145 gallons unoccupied (80 to 120 occupied). It ships with the digital-controller Air + dual Hydro package and is the frame that can carry all four therapies.

Who It Is for

The videos show bathers of 6 ft 10, 6 ft 7, and 6 ft 4 at 390 lb using the ShaK comfortably. Our team positions it for bathers around 6 ft 4 and taller (one team member describes it as a tub for people near 7 ft). Shorter bathers can use it, they simply have extra room, but most are better matched to the Big4One 33x66 or a 60 inch tub. Confirm your home can take the crate (39 x 74 x 49 in, 429 lb) and the 286 lb tub; our team asks for a doorway of at least 36 inches. • White composite and tempered glass U-door, 3-latch lock, outward swing; step-in about 5 in per our team.
• No extension panel; reversible end panel and wall grab bar included. Extra end panels can be added; the long back side sits against a wall.

Therapies and Electrical

Ships with the digital-controller Air + dual Hydro package; microbubble is optional. The launch announcement counts 37 jets including 3 bidet jets on two hydro motors.

• Hydro seat: 15 upper seat jets, 9A 900W pump, digital control.
• Hydro foot and calf: 4 foot and 2 calf jets, separate 7A 900W pump, in-line heater 6A 650W, ozone.
• Air: 12 seat and 4 foot jets, 4.5A 500W pump with Auto Purge, digital control.
• LED 0.5A; optional heated seat. Dedicated GFCI lines at 115V 60Hz; the full package with microbubbles needs three 20A lines. See electrical requirements by model.

Soaker, Wall Finish, and Water

The ShaK is not available without jets. It has no built-in tile flange, so discuss the glue-on flange approach with support before planning a tiled-in alcove; see tile flange and wall finishing.
