Ella Mobile 26x45: The Smallest Walk-In Tub

Updated September 2026

The Ella Mobile 26x45 is the smallest walk-in tub Ella's Bubbles makes: 45 inches long, 26 inches wide (the video quotes 25 3/4), and 39 1/4 inches high, with an outward-swing U-shape door, a 19 to 20 inch seat, and a step-in of about 3 3/4 inches. It is the model to look at when a 52 inch tub will not fit the room or will not pass the doorway, and it still carries a full hydro or air and hydro therapy package.

Dimensions

  • Length 45 in; interior length 38 7/8 in; width 26 in; height 39 1/4 in; backrest 101 degrees.
  • Door 19 5/8 in wide with a 19 1/4 in opening, 165 degree outward swing, 3-latch gear-and-shaft lock.
  • Seat 19 in (video) to 20 in (manual); the dimension video shows a 13 in seat length and about 36 in of interior.
  • The capacity and weight lines on the spec sheet are printed as images; use the product page for those figures, or ask your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850.

Doorways, Alcoves, and Mobile Homes

For a 25 inch opening our team names the Mobile as the only option, and only with the door frame removed so the 26 inch shell can pass. No extension panel is offered, so it suits a 45 inch space or a corner rather than a 60 inch alcove. Our team recommends it, along with the Front Entry, for single-wide mobile homes; the name refers to its compact size, not to mobile homes alone. Because the U-door swings outward 165 degrees, leave clear floor in front of the tub; see outward door swing clearance and our doorway measurement guide before you order.

Jets, Drain, Controls

  • Air: 14 jets, three-speed pump with Auto Purge.
  • Hydro: 15 jets, intensity dial, in-line heater, ozone.
  • Packages follow the outward-door family menu (Air + Hydro, Hydro + Foot, Hydro + Micro, Hydro, Soaking); LED chromatherapy comes with the dual package. Because the equipment sits under the seat, this compact frame carries at most two systems; see therapy combinations by model.
  • One oversized 2 in drain with an easy-turn opener and emergency pull chain, not a dual drain.
  • Optional digital touchpad and heated seat and backrest.

Faucet

The Ella 2-piece single-lever fast-fill faucet in chrome or brushed nickel is included: solid brass spout, diverter button, two 3/4 in by 5 ft supply lines, and a 5-setting hand shower on a 5 ft hose (1.9 GPM; fill rate designed for 16 GPM). Cut-outs: 2-1/2 in faucet hole, 1/3 in rod holes, 7/8 in diagonal hand-shower hole. One video mentions a 5-piece option; confirm at order time. The differences are explained in 2-piece vs 5-piece fast-fill faucets.

The Mobile on Video

The video covers the 45 inch length and nearly 26 inch width, the 19 inch seat, the 3-latch outward door, 14 air jets with Auto Purge, 15 hydro jets, the 2-piece faucet, and the oversized 2 inch drain with pull chain.
This clip quotes the 25 3/4 inch width and shows air and hydro massage, chromatherapy, the digital touchpad and heated seat options, and the faucet choices.

The dimension video shows the seat width, seat length, and interior length in proportion so you can picture yourself in the tub before measuring your room.

Common Questions

Does the Mobile have dual drains?
No. The Mobile uses one oversized 2 inch drain with an easy-turn opener and an emergency pull chain. The Mobile and Front Entry are the two outward-door models with a single drain; the rest of the line uses the dual drain system.
What are the Mobile interior dimensions?
19 inch seat width, 13 inch seat length, and about 36 inches of interior length per the dimension video; the spec sheet governs when figures differ.
Will the Mobile fit through a 26 or 27 inch doorway?
The shell is 26 inches wide, so a 27 inch doorway is workable with the panels removed. For a 25 inch opening the door frame must come off. Measure every doorway and turn along the path to the bathroom, not just the bathroom door.
Can the Mobile fill a 60 inch alcove?
No extension panel is offered for the Mobile, so it is best in a 45 inch space or a corner. For a standard 60 inch alcove, a 52 inch model with its included extension panel is the better fit; see alcove fit and extension panels.
Is the Mobile available without jets?
Yes. Soaking is on the package menu, with no jets and no jet holes, and a plain soaker needs no outlet unless you add the heated seat. See soaking-only walk-in tubs.
Can I get three therapies on the Mobile?
No. The compact frame carries at most two systems, such as Air + Hydro or Hydro + Microbubble. The Royal, Monaco, and Transfer32 are the smallest tubs that carry three.
Is the Mobile a good choice for a mobile home?
Yes. Our team recommends the Mobile and the Front Entry for single-wide mobile homes because of their narrow shells. See mobile homes, condos, slabs, and upper floors for the floor and drain planning that applies.
How much water does the Mobile hold?
The capacity and weight lines on the Mobile spec sheet are printed as images rather than text, so please use the product page or ask your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 for the current figures before sizing a water heater.
Can a folding glass screen be added to the Mobile?
A folding screen can work if it is small enough, but our team notes that the standard 4-fold screen may be too wide for this tub. Ask the team about screen fit for your drain side before ordering.
