Every Ella shower wall kit and enclosure has an installation guide, a spec sheet with the dimensions, and a user manual, and support will send them to you as attachments once they know which shower you have. If you bought the shower through The Home Depot, the fastest route is the product page itself: scroll to Product Description, open Additional Resources, and you will find the Warranty, Installation Guide, Specs and User Manual for that exact layout. Either way, the one thing you need first is the model number or the layout you purchased.
Find the Documents on the Retailer Product Page
- Open the product page for the layout you bought, matching the size, seat side and drain side on your order.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Product Description.
- Open Additional Resources. The Warranty, Installation Guide, Specs and User Manual are listed there as downloads.
If you are not sure which product page matches your order, send support whatever product identifier appears on your order confirmation. Read how support works for retailer purchases.
Ask Support and Tell Them the Layout
Support will attach the manual and spec sheet by email. To get the right set on the first reply, include the model number from your order or from the box, or describe the shower: one-piece or three-piece, the size such as 60 by 33, which side the seat is on, and which side the drain is on. Left-seat and right-seat versions are identical except that the layout is mirrored, so the spec sheet for one applies to the other with the layout flipped. Support can also link the installation video for your shower type.
Which Document Answers Which Question
- The installation guide covers the sequence of assembly.
- The spec sheet carries the overall dimensions and layout your contractor needs before the walls go up. This is the one to send when the question is about the opening.
- The user manual covers care and everyday use.
For a comparison of the stall families and their published dimensions, see Ella shower stalls compared. Tub owners looking for their own paperwork should use the manuals and drawings index by model.
Wall Panel Kits, Screens and Doors
The three-panel acrylic shower wall kit has its own spec sheet and installation instructions, which support sends on request. Framed sliding doors and bath screens have separate guides: see installing framed sliding doors and the Tidy screen and the four-fold screen printed manual. Every shower install video is gathered in the shower video library.
What to Have Ready
- The model number or product identifier from your order.
- The layout: one-piece or three-piece, size, seat side and drain side.
- The question you are trying to answer, such as the opening size or the drain position, so support can point to the right page.
