The Crate Label Does Not List the Microbubble Option I Ordered

You very likely received the right tub. The label on the shipping crate shows only the base therapy system, such as Air + Hydro or Air + Hydro + Hydro Foot. Microbubble is an accessory that is installed on the tub before it ships, and Ella does not print it on the crate label. It appears on the packing slip that travels with your order. Unbox the tub, inspect it, and compare it with your packing slip and order confirmation before concluding that anything is missing.

Why the Crate Label Does Not Mention Microbubble

Crate labels identify the model and its core jetting configuration. Microbubble is added to that configuration as an installed accessory, often as part of a custom order, and it is recorded on the packing slip rather than on the outside of the box. So a crate marked Air + Hydro can hold a tub that was built with air, hydro and microbubble. The same applies to tubs delivered to a contractor far from you. A photo of the crate label alone cannot confirm or rule out the option, and support confirms it from your order paperwork and the packing slip.

How to Confirm What You Received

  1. Find the packing slip that came with the shipment and check that microbubble is listed.
  2. Unpack the tub and inspect it. The schematic articles linked below show the microbubble components so you know what to look for.
  3. Compare the model, the door side and the other options with your order confirmation.
  4. If the packing slip does not list microbubble, or the equipment is not on the tub, open a ticket with your order number and photos before the tub is installed.

The article on a tub that arrived as a different model or without an ordered option explains what support needs to sort out a genuine discrepancy.

Where to See the Microbubble Parts

The Air + Hydro + Hydro Foot + Microbubble schematic shows how the microbubble components connect alongside the other systems on tubs with that combination. On the LayDown, the LayDown microbubble schematic shows the microbubble components for that model. For a plain-language description of each therapy, see the overview of walk-in tub therapy options and features.

Inspect for Damage While the Crate Is Open

Because you are opening the crate anyway, check for shipping damage at the same time. Save all packaging material, and inspect the tub visually and operationally as far as you can before installation. Concealed freight damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt, so do not leave the crate closed for days waiting to confirm the options.

Common Questions

Why does the box say Air + Hydro when I ordered microbubble?
The crate label shows only the base therapy configuration. Microbubble is an installed accessory and is not printed on the box. It is listed on the packing slip, and support can confirm it from your order paperwork.
Should I refuse the delivery if the label looks wrong?
The crate label alone is not a reason to refuse the shipment, because it is not the full record of what is on the tub. Note any visible damage with the driver present, then check the packing slip and inspect the tub after unboxing, which is what support advises.
How can I tell if microbubble is installed?
Check the packing slip first, then inspect the tub for the microbubble components shown in the schematic articles linked above. If you are unsure, send photos of the tub and the packing slip to support and they will compare them with your order.
What if the packing slip does not list microbubble?
Open a ticket with your order number, photos of the packing slip and the tub, and a description of what you ordered. Do this before installation, since installed tubs cannot be returned or exchanged. Support will compare the shipment with your order and advise on the next step.
What if my tub was delivered to a contractor far from me?
The same rule applies. A photo of the crate label sent from the job site does not show whether microbubble was installed. Ask your contractor to locate the packing slip and photograph the tub after unboxing, and support can confirm the option from your order paperwork.
