The right model is chosen during a phone conversation, and a written proposal covering the tub, its specifications, and delivery to your address is prepared from that call. Measuring the space and confirming that your existing plumbing and electrical service will work is the job of the licensed contractor who installs the tub, and many installers offer an in-home visit of their own.

Why There Is No In-Home Visit

Ella builds walk-in tubs and ships them to your home. It does not perform installation, so there is no field crew or local representative to send out ahead of an order. How a Proposal Is Prepared

  2. Share what you know about the room. Doorway widths on the route in and the size of the space where the tub will sit help confirm that the tub can be carried in and will fit. Photos of the room are welcome.
  3. A written proposal is prepared listing the tub, the options selected, and delivery to your address. Review it at your own pace, and read how proposals and order confirmations work before you accept.

Who Measures and Checks the Plumbing

Your installer is the right person to confirm that the tub will fit through the doorways, that the location of your house drain works with the door side you have chosen, and that your electrical panel has capacity for the pumps and heater. Many installers will come to your home and give you an estimate for their work. That estimate is the installer's, not Ella's, and it is arranged directly with them.
