Dealers and contractors in the Ella network can add the Ella product catalog, the shower builder and the walk-in tub catalog to their own website through EllaSync, a simple embed provided by the web support team. The team supplies the embed for each page type, and either your developer pastes it into an HTML block or the web support team helps with the setup. Share the address of your website and the page where the embed will live when you make the request so the team can prepare it for the correct site.

What EllaSync Does

EllaSync embeds the Ella product catalog, the shower builder, or the walk-in tub builder directly into a page on your site, and it keeps everything up to date automatically. Customers browse tubs and design showers without leaving your website, so the traffic stays on your site and you stay in control of the customer relationship. There is nothing for you to build or manage yourself. The consumer-facing version of the tool is described in Shower Builder Tool.

Requesting Your Embed

  1. Join the dealer or contractor network if you have not already; see the Ella's Bubbles Dealer Program.
  2. Open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support and ask for EllaSync, including your website address and the page where you plan to place it.
  3. State which embeds you want: the shower catalog and builder, the walk-in tub catalog, or both. Dealers sometimes use both on different pages.
  4. The web support team sends the embed instructions to you or your developer.

Installing on WordPress

WordPress is the most seamless platform for EllaSync from a compatibility standpoint, but other platforms are supported as well, including custom-built sites.

  1. Create a new page on your site.
  2. Select a full-width template if your theme offers one.
  3. Add an Embed or HTML block to the page.
  4. Paste the EllaSync embed code into the block.
  5. Publish the page and review it, then ask the team for any adjustments.

If your site runs on another platform and you have a developer, the web support team can provide the instructions and embeds for them to add directly.

If you already have product pages that rank well, the team can supply high-resolution images and descriptions so you can refresh the pages without losing their search position. Custom banners and catalogs with your logo are available; send a high-resolution logo and the company details you want included. Common Questions

What does the web team need from me?
The address of your website and the page where the embed will be placed, plus which embeds you want. If you would like the team to help install it, they will also need a contact for your developer or access to your site.
Does the embed work on platforms other than WordPress?
Yes. WordPress is the smoothest fit, but the team supports other platforms as well, and dealers have installed it on custom-built sites. Tell the team what your site runs on and they will advise.
Does the EllaSync catalog include walk-in tubs?
There are separate embeds for the shower catalog and builder and for the walk-in tub catalog. Request both if you want tubs and showers on your site, and place them on separate pages if that suits your layout.
Do I need to update the embed when products change?
No. EllaSync keeps the catalog and builder content up to date automatically, so there is nothing for you to maintain. If you want a change to how it appears, contact the team.
Can the team help refresh my existing product pages?
Yes. The team can send high-resolution product images and descriptions so you can update existing pages without losing their search ranking. Tell them which pages you want to refresh.
