Where to Find Installation Videos and Written Instructions for Your Walk-In Tub

Updated September 2026

Ella's Bubbles publishes its installation videos on the Ella's Bubbles YouTube channel, and the written spec sheets, installation manuals and electrical component diagrams are available from each product page. The core set your installer should review is the Installation Tips and Recommendations video, the Electrical Setup Guide video, the Hot Water Supply Requirements video and the Easy Installation Overview, together with the spec sheet and component diagram for your model. If you cannot locate a file, open a ticket at ellasbubbles.com/support or call (800) 480-6850 with your model name and the team will send the current links.

The Videos the Team Sends to Installers

When a customer or contractor asks for installation help before the tub arrives, support sends the same short list of videos. Each one is general guidance and should be used alongside the model-specific documents and your local codes.

  • Installation Tips and Recommendations, a short in-house video with tips for proper walk-in tub installation. This is the latest general installation video Ella produces and the one sent to installers first.
  • Walk-In Bathtub Installation Information and Tips, a companion overview of the basics.
  • Electrical Setup Guide, covering the electrical connections for your therapy package.
  • Hot Water Supply Requirements, explaining what to check on the home's hot water supply before the tub is installed.
  • Easy Installation Overview, a short walkthrough of the installation sequence.
  • Ella Transfer60 Delivery and Installation, a model-specific walkthrough for that wheelchair-access tub.

Written Instructions for Your Plumber and Electrician

Installers usually want documents they can carry on site. The manuals and drawings guide shows where to find the installation manual, the spec sheet with dimensions, and the therapy component diagram for your exact model. The component diagram is what the electrician needs, and the spec sheet gives the plumber the drain side, faucet deck location and supply details. If your crate arrived without the printed manual, see what to do if you did not receive an owner's manual.

Assemble an Installer Packet

  1. Download the installation manual and spec sheet for your model from the product page.
  2. Download the component diagram that matches your therapy package. The schematics index explains which diagram is yours, since the electrical components differ between soaking, hydro, air and microbubble configurations.
  3. Send the installer the Installation Tips, Electrical Setup and Hot Water Supply video links so they are reviewed before demolition begins.
  4. Add any accessory instructions that apply, such as digital control mounting or shower screen placement.
  5. Keep the model and serial number with the packet so the installer can reference them if they call support.

Live Help During the Installation

Ella does not send technicians and does not perform installations. A local licensed plumber and electrician do the work. What Ella does provide is free lifetime technical support, including phone and live video help for your installer while the tub is being set. Installers are welcome to call (800) 480-6850 directly with questions about leveling, drain hookup, door adjustment or electrical connections. Having the installer watch the videos first makes those calls short and specific.

Common Questions

Does Ella have an in-house installation video I can trust?
Yes. The Installation Tips and Recommendations video is produced by Ella's Bubbles and is the one support sends to installers first. It is a general guide, so pair it with the documents for your model and follow your local plumbing and electrical codes.
Are the installation videos specific to my tub model?
Most of the videos are general and apply to every Ella walk-in tub, with a model-specific delivery and installation walkthrough available for the Transfer60. For model details such as dimensions and drain side, use the spec sheet and installation manual for your product.
Where is the electrical diagram for my therapy package?
The component diagram is provided with your model's documents and is organized by therapy package rather than by tub model. Choose the diagram that matches the therapies on your invoice, since the components differ between packages.
Can my installer call Ella during the installation?
Yes. Tech support takes calls and live video calls from installers at no charge as part of lifetime technical support. Have the model and serial number ready and, if possible, a phone with a camera pointed at the area in question.
Do I still need the videos if I have the manual?
The manual and spec sheet are the authoritative documents, but the videos show techniques such as leveling and hookup that are easier to understand on screen. Support recommends installers review both before the tub is delivered.
