One detail matters more than any other for great results: the blue tank must be filled with distilled water only.
First Time Setup on the Standard60
The hydrogen system ships with a container secured under the tub. Before your first use:
- Cut the shipping ties holding the container in place.
- Remove the container from under the tub.
- Connect the hose to the front of the tub.
- Fill the blue tank with distilled water. Distilled water is available at any grocery or drug store.
Tap water contains minerals that the system is not designed for, so topping up with anything other than distilled water can lead to weak output or a dirty tank over time. If your microbubbles ever seem weak, checking that the blue tank is filled with fresh distilled water is the best first step.
Running the System
Fill the tub until the water is above the hydrogen inlet jet and the microbubble port before you press the H2 button, since the pump must never run dry. The water turns milky white as the microbubbles fill the tub, and the hydrogen concentration keeps climbing as the bath continues.
What Hydrogen Therapy Does
As the video above explains, hydrogen water bathing infuses the bath with molecular hydrogen gas carried in nanobubbles, which helps the hydrogen remain in the water longer. With one touch of a button, billions of hydrogen nanobubbles are generated in the tub. Regular tap water measures roughly 0.1 parts per million or less, while the demonstration tub outfitted with a hydrogen generator measured 2.2 parts per million. What Microbubble Therapy Does
The microbubble system supersaturates the water with air and releases it as dense clouds of microbubbles smaller than 50 microns.
