With regular tap water, the first drop stays blue, which indicates 0.1 ppm of hydrogen or less. With water from an Ella walk-in tub fitted with the hydrogen generator, drop after drop turns clear as the dissolved hydrogen is consumed, until the twenty-second drop finally stays blue. That is the titration end point, and 22 drops corresponds to 2.2 ppm of dissolved hydrogen. Distilled Water
Yes, the tank must be filled with distilled water. On the Standard60, the setup printed on the spec sheet is: cut the ties and remove the container from under the tub, take the hose from inside the tank and connect it to the front of the tub, and fill the blue tank with distilled water.
