Where can I download the TransferXXL 36x55 cut sheet PDF?

Mis à jour Novembre 2026

The cut sheet for the Ella TransferXXL 36x55 is the model's spec sheet, and it is a free PDF on the TransferXXL page at ellasbubbles.com, where the Downloads tab and its Download Specifications link open the file. You can also open the file directly at https://ellasbubbles.com/wp-content/uploads/walk-in-tub/specifications/wheelchair-transfer/transferxxl.pdf, and pages two and three carry the dimension drawings. The general route to any model's documents is explained in How to Get the Spec Sheet and Manual for Your Ella Walk-In Tub Model; this page is about what the TransferXXL sheet contains and how to read it.

Two Ways to Open the TransferXXL Cut Sheet

Ella uses the words cut sheet, spec sheet and specifications for the same document. For the TransferXXL there is one such file, and you can reach it two ways.

  1. Go to the TransferXXL model page at https://ellasbubbles.com/walk-in-tubs/wheelchair-transfer-door/transferxxl/ and select the Downloads tab. The Download Specifications link opens the spec sheet PDF. The same tab holds the owner's manual, which is a single document covering all five Transfer models, so do not be surprised when it opens with the Transfer26, Transfer30, Transfer32 and Transfer60 alongside the TransferXXL.
  2. Open the PDF directly at the uploads address above. This is the easier choice when you want to send a link to your plumber or electrician rather than describe where to click.

The Therapy Options tab on the same model page holds the electrical diagram for the therapy package you have or are considering. If your package is the push-control Air + Hydro + Hydro Independent Foot Massage, that drawing is explained in What the Air + Hydro + Hydro Foot Schematic Shows, and its Available On box lists the TransferXXL as XXL. Save the spec sheet, the manual and the diagram together and share all three before installation day.

The How to Choose video on this page shows the same route on the website: click the Download tab for the tub you are interested in and the specific dimensions of that tub are there. Use the video for the clicks, and take your figures from the current TransferXXL sheet rather than from the older examples spoken in the video.

What the 36x55 Sheet Prints

The current TransferXXL sheet is 8 pages and carries a document date of 05/07/26. These are the figures installers ask for most, all taken from page one.

  • Actual size: 36 inches wide by 55 inches long by 40 inches high.
  • Shipping size: 38 by 57 by 50 inches, which is the crate you need to get through the door and down the hall.
  • Seat width: 29 inches.
  • Water capacity: 132 gallons unoccupied and 55 to 75 gallons occupied. Plan from the gallon figures.
  • Door: an outward-swing door of plastic composite and tempered glass with a 2 latch gear and shaft mechanism. The family drawing calls out a 172 degree door opening angle, so the swing needs clear floor in front of the tub.
  • Drains: two 2 inch 4-port PVC drains with two end caps, two overflows and two stainless steel openers with extended chrome handles.
  • Panels: a removable front apron with two access panels, one reversible end panel and a 5 inch extension panel for closing a gap in an alcove.
  • Grab bar: a stainless steel, chrome finish deck and wall-mounted grab bar.
  • Faucet: the 5 Piece Faucet, rated up to 18 GPM at 60 PSI, with two 5 foot 3/4 inch water supply lines and a pull-out chrome hand shower on a 5 foot retractable braided hose.
  • Electrical: dedicated GFCI protected electrical line or lines at 115/120V 60Hz. The sheet also prints this disclaimer: "AMP value for each pump may change based on availability. Please verify before purchase (800.480.6850)".

Net weight, shipping weight and the stainless steel frame with adjustable leveling legs are printed on the same page. The inch figures are the authoritative specifications, so when a brochure or an older document shows something different, the current sheet is the one to follow.

Why the Title May Read XXXL

Some copies of this sheet show a title that reads Transfer XXXL, and an older 2021 schematic prints XXXL in its model list. There is no XXXL model in the Ella lineup. Both are printing artifacts for the TransferXXL, the 36 by 55 inch tub described on this page, and the model page and the file address both say TransferXXL. If a dealer document, an invoice or a schematic uses XXXL, it refers to this same tub, and the cut sheet above is the correct document. This is also the model that took the place of the discontinued bariatric wide-seat transfer tub, as Which current Ella model replaces a discontinued Chi, Malibu or other tub? explains, so owners replacing one of those tubs should plan from this sheet.

Therapy Packages and Jet Counts on the Sheet

The TransferXXL is one of the Transfer models offered with triple therapy packages, and the sheet lists seven ways to order it: Soaking, Hydro Massage, Hydro Massage + Microbubble, Hydro + Hydro Independent Foot Massage, Air + Hydro, Air + Hydro + Hydro Independent Foot Massage, and Air + Hydro + Microbubble. The LED chromatherapy light is included with the dual and triple packages and is not included with Hydro Massage alone.

There is no single jet count for the TransferXXL. The count depends on the package you choose, and each system block on the sheet prints its own figures.

  • Hydro Massage: 22 jets, 16 seat jets and 6 foot jets, a 7A pump, an intensity dial, on/off push control, and a 6A 650W in-line water heater.
  • Hydro + Hydro Foot Massage: the same 22 jets fed by two pumps, 5A and 7A, each with its own intensity dial.
  • Hydro + Air Massage: a 4.5A 500W three-speed air pump with auto-purge driving 17 air jets, 11 at the seat and 6 at the feet, plus 11 hydro jets, 5 back jets and 6 foot jets.
  • Thérapie par microbulles: a 1 HP 7.3A pump with a pressure vessel, agitator valve and push control.
  • Ozone sterilization is rated 0.04A, and the LED light is rated 0.5A with its own push control.

Two of these figures deserve a note. The auto-purge on the air system starts on its own about 20 minutes after the air pump is turned off and clears the air lines; it is normal and cannot be stopped. And the 0.04A figure belongs only to the ozone generator, never to the LED light, which is 0.5A.

Cut Sheet or Brochure

The wheelchair transfer brochure lists the TransferXXL at a nominal 36 by 55 inches alongside the other four Transfer models, with photos and a therapy matrix. The spec sheet is the engineering document, with actual size, shipping size, capacity, seat width and the amperage of every pump and heater. When the two differ, the spec sheet wins. Brochures and Catalogs: The Six Digital Brochures explains which brochure covers which family and how to get one, and it is the right file to hand a family member who wants to see the tub rather than measure for it.

Using the Sheet for Your Bathroom

  • Check the 38 by 57 by 50 inch crate against every doorway, hallway and stair turn between the delivery truck and the bathroom.
  • Give your plumber the two-drain layout and the 3/4 inch supply line size so the rough-in is ready.
  • Give your electrician the amperage of each pump and heater in the package you chose and the dedicated GFCI requirement, and have the Therapy Options diagram with you.
  • Allow for the outward swing of the door and the 5 inch extension panel when you measure the alcove.
  • If you own the tub without paperwork, photograph the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door and send it through ellasbubbles.com/support; the team replies with the matching sheet and manual.

Questions fréquentes

Is the cut sheet the same thing as the spec sheet?
Yes. Cut sheet, spec sheet and specifications all refer to the same PDF for the TransferXXL. It is the document behind the Download Specifications link on the model page, and the direct file address is in the uploads folder for wheelchair-transfer specifications.
Which pages of the TransferXXL PDF have the drawings?
Pages two and three carry the dimension drawings. Page one prints the actual size, shipping size, seat width, water capacity, door, drains, faucet and electrical figures in text form. The full document is 8 pages.
Does the TransferXXL have its own owner's manual?
No. The owner's manual on the Downloads tab is one document covering all five Transfer models: Transfer26, Transfer30, Transfer32, Transfer60 and TransferXXL. The spec sheet, by contrast, is specific to the TransferXXL.
Why does my sheet say Transfer XXXL instead of TransferXXL?
That is a printing artifact. There is no XXXL model in the Ella lineup, and the 36 by 55 inch tub is the TransferXXL. The model page and the file address both use the correct name, and any document that says XXXL refers to this same tub.
How many jets does the TransferXXL walk-in tub have?
It depends on the therapy package. The Hydro Massage packages print 22 jets, 16 at the seat and 6 at the feet. The Hydro + Air package prints 17 air jets and 11 hydro jets. The Soaking version has no jets, so read the block on the sheet for the package you ordered.
Where is the electrical diagram for my therapy package?
It is on the TransferXXL model page under the Therapy Options tab, not under Downloads. Pick the package you have or are considering and download that diagram, then hand it to your electrician together with the spec sheet.
