so i want to also kind of talk about the importance of packaging and shipping your bathtub every one of these bathtubs starts at a factory and has to make it from there to you so my experience is this is how every other brand of bathtub shifts their bathtub standard corrugated box um what we ran into with these bathtubs being shipped this way with very little care put into the packaging was that we received a lot of these bathtubs damaged from the shipping companies very inexpensive shipping they plop a box down over the tub throw it on a skid and ship it out i want to show you the care that's put into the ella's shipping and the containers and the extra expense that they take on to ship the bathtubs so this is the shipping material that's getting ready to go over this bathtub this is the bathtubs finished ready to go out but what they do is they invest and they protect their bathtubs with this three-quarter seven-eighths one-inch thick corrugated material super robust you know these multi-piece boxes that go around these tubs it's amazing they wrap the skids in a layer of plywood to protect it from forks and other damage that can happen at the shipping terminals i mean we put all this care into building the bathtub and then you're gonna just slap a little box over it absolutely not this is a handmade bathtub so we're gonna protect it we're gonna give it just as much care while it's shipping as we do while it's here being built so this was a huge selling point to me uh when i decided to carry and offer ellis bubbles walk-in bathtubs to our customers option two your bathtub will either come in the corrugated five-piece box or it's gonna get shipped in a half-inch plywood crate they actually cut assemble tack all these plywood pieces together again to protect your hand-built bathtub going from ella's to our warehouse to your home so here's one of our shipping skids this is the bottom half of the shipping container and just to kind of again walk through the attention to detail so this is like a custom skid built for one of our bathtub models each one of these layers these additional layers is right where one of our feet is going to rest so this skid is built to support the bathtub during shipping to make sure that it gets to our warehouse without bouncing around and that it's just so thoroughly protected so this is just another layer of detail that goes into even building the skid to ship the bathtub
