Yes, replacement supply lines are available for your Ella walk-in tub faucet. Ella's supply lines come in two sizes, 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch. Current fast-fill faucets use the 3/4-inch line, which the team normally has on hand. Older faucets used 1/2-inch NPT lines, which are not always available from Ella. Those are standard fittings you can pick up at a hardware store, or you can use a 3/4-inch line with a 3/4-inch to 1/2-inch reducer. One caution before you shop locally: on some faucets the line is reverse-threaded at the faucet end, so send the team a photo first to be sure a store-bought line will fit.

Which Line Do You Need?

A fast-fill faucet has more than one flexible line under the deck: the hot supply, the cold supply and the line feeding the spout. The hand mixer line and the spout and hand mixer diverters are separate parts of their own. They are not all the same, so the team will ask which one is leaking or kinked. If you are unsure, take a photo of the actual line on your tub, including the end that connects to the faucet, and the team will identify it. Sizes and Threads

1. Current 2-piece and 5-piece fast-fill faucets use 3/4-inch supply lines, covered in what a fast-fill faucet is. Ella supplies these.
2. Older faucets use 1/2-inch NPT lines. If the team does not have them on hand, buy them locally or fit a 3/4-inch line with a 3/4-inch to 1/2-inch reducer from the hardware store.
3. Some faucet ends are reverse-threaded, so a generic line may not thread on. Confirm with a photo before buying.

Leaks at a Fitting or a Missing Washer

A drip at a connection is often a washer that is missing or not seated. Rather than mail a loose washer that may not match, the team ships a whole new line so the washer is the right one. A line with a poorly crimped end, or one that arrived kinked, is a defect, and the replacement ships at no charge once the team has a photo or a short video showing the problem. Have your plumber shut off the supply valves before removing any line.

What the Team Needs from You

1. A photo of the line, or a video of the leak.
2. Whether it is the hot, cold or spout line.
3. Your serial number. It is on the label behind the magnetic access panel next to the door. If you cannot find it, say so and the team will help identify your tub.
4. The shipping address, and if the tub is not yet installed, the date your contractor is scheduled so the part arrives in time.

Replacement lines ship by UPS or FedEx and you receive the tracking number by email.
