Walk-in tubs can be personalized with several add-ons: aromatherapy, a tile flange, pillows and seat risers, head pillows with suction cups, and a leak elimination kit for pull-out hand showers. The five-piece LSS fill faucet is already part of the tub package. This page explains what each option does and what to think about when choosing.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is an optional add-on. It requires drilling one more hole in the tub deck, and that hole is located up in front, so plan for the extra opening when you choose your options. Tile Flange

Our tubs do not have a built-in lip. A tile flange is available as an aftermarket option to waterproof the gap between the tub and your tiles. If your tub will sit against a tiled wall, it is worth considering this option.

Pillows and Seat Risers

Accessories include pillows and seat risers. Two head pillow styles use suction cups:

  • Soft bath wall pillow: a triangular pillow that attaches to the wall and sits on the tub. It is waterproof and easy to clean.
  • Headrest neck support: a larger pillow that can be used with or without a filler strip.

The headrest neck support has a plastic piece that attaches to a filler kit. If you would rather skip the filler strip, that piece can be removed so the pillow with suction cups attaches directly to the wall. Handheld Shower and Leak Elimination Kit

A leak elimination kit is available for pull-out hand showers when a slide bar is installed. It prevents drips behind the tub when the handheld shower is out of the tub. If you do not use a slide bar, the handheld shower is simply pushed into the tub when it is not in use.

What Is Already Included

The five-piece LSS fill faucet is part of the tub package, so you do not need to add it separately.

How to Choose Your Add-Ons

  1. Decide whether you want aromatherapy, and plan for the extra hole in the front of the tub deck.
  2. Check whether your tub will meet tile, and if so, consider a tile flange.
  3. Choose the pillow style that suits you: the soft bath wall pillow or the headrest neck support, with or without the filler strip.
  4. Decide whether your handheld shower will be on a slide bar. If so, ask about the leak elimination kit.
