Yes. You can place your walk-in tub order now and respond to the confirmation invoice when your money arrives. Ella's Bubbles does not take deposits or partial payments, so the invoice is paid in full before the tub is assembled and tested, but placing the order early secures the configuration you chose. The canonical guide, Deposits and Partial Payments on a Walk-In Tub Order, covers the payment rules in full.
Why Placing the Order Early Helps
Every Ella tub is built and tested to order. A proposal sets out the configuration and pricing for a set period, and placing the order is what secures a unit. If the door side or faucet finish you chose is in limited supply, an order on file keeps that unit from going to someone else while you wait. The confirmation invoice can sit until you are ready to respond to it, and nothing moves to assembly until it is paid in full.
How the Process Works
- Call your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 and give the number on your proposal so the exact configuration carries over.
- You receive a confirmation invoice. Review the model, door side, options and delivery details on it.
- Respond to the invoice when your funds are available and pay it in full.
- Once payment is complete, the current pricing is locked in and the tub is scheduled for assembly and testing. Shipping follows.
If an Option Is Back Ordered
If one item on your order, such as a faucet finish, is temporarily unavailable, the invoice still must be paid in full before anything ships. After payment you can have the whole tub held until the item arrives and everything shipped together, or have the tub ship now with the item sent separately when it becomes available. The support team confirms current timing for your specific order, since it varies by model, options and stock.
Outside Money Comes After the Purchase
Ella does not bill Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies or the VA directly, and reimbursement is never guaranteed. Customers who pursue reimbursement buy the tub first and submit their own claim afterward. The same applies to a medical expense deduction, which is claimed at tax time after the tub is bought and installed. Veterans can ask the VA or a local veterans organization about grant programs. If you need to spread the cost, financing is the route rather than a deposit, and your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850 can explain how to apply.

Common Questions
Can I hold a tub without paying anything up front? There is no deposit or layaway arrangement. Placing the order creates a confirmation invoice that waits for your response, and that is what keeps your configuration from selling out. The tub is built once the invoice is paid in full.
What if my money will not arrive for another week? Place the order now anyway. Review the confirmation invoice in the meantime and pay it when your funds are available. Assembly and testing are scheduled after payment.
Does a proposal by itself reserve a tub for me? No. A proposal shows the configuration and pricing for a set period. Placing the order and responding to the confirmation invoice is what secures your unit.
Can I pay for the tub now and a back-ordered option later? No. The full invoice, including any back-ordered item, is paid before anything ships. After payment the team can hold the tub or ship it now and send the item separately.
Should I wait for insurance or VA money before ordering? Plan for outside money to come after the purchase. Ella does not bill those programs directly, so you buy the tub first and submit your own claim, with no guarantee of reimbursement.
