Which Folding Screen a 60 Inch Tub Takes

Ella makes two folding screens, and the tub family decides which one applies. Seated walk-in tubs, including the 30 by 60 inch models, use the four-fold screen. The LayDown tubs, with their long low profile and glass side door, use the bifold screen, and the team confirms that is the only screen option for them. The four-fold screen was designed around a 52 inch tub. On a 60 inch seated tub it does not extend all the way to the far end. On a tub whose top measures about 59 to 60 inches, the 44 inch screen leaves roughly 15 inches uncovered at one end, which is normal for that pairing and not a defect. The screen itself is a 44 by 42 inch tempered glass screen in a chrome ionized aluminum frame, with 1/8 inch tempered clear glass panels joined by PVC geared hinges, a knob on both sides and a 90 degree pivot at the wall channel.
