Acrylic shower wall panels for an Ella shower are available through your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850, and if you already own an Ella product, where you purchased can also look up the matching panels. The two acrylic kit formats, a 6-piece Carrara White kit and a 3-piece solid white surround, are compared in Acrylic 6-Piece Wall Panel Kit: Size, Shelves, Thickness and How It Compares to the 3-Piece Surround and SMC Panels. Prices are not published in this knowledge base, so ask for current pricing and the spec sheet when you inquire.
The Acrylic Panel Options
- Acrylic Shower Wall Panels 6-Piece Kit in Carrara White: 36 inches deep by 60 inches wide by 92 inches tall, with storage shelves on the left side. The marble-look panels are 1/8 inch thick.
- Acrylic Solid White Glossy 3-Piece Shower Wall Surround: 40 inches deep by 60 inches wide by 97 inches tall, with a 1 inch bend at the panel edges. It is deeper and taller than the 6-piece kit, so confirm ceiling height and alcove depth first.
- Large individual acrylic panels, including 98 by 60 inch back walls and 36 to 38 by 96 to 98 inch side walls, plus three-piece acrylic wall systems in white, CNC and digital print finishes with ADA accessories available.
The SMC subway-tile-look panels, sold as a 6-piece or 12-piece kit at 36 by 60 by 96 inches, and the tongue-and-groove grout-free tiles are different products, so name the exact one you want when you ask. The full range of bases and walls is listed in Shower Bases, Walls, and Filler Pieces.
What to Have Ready When You Ask
- Your alcove width and depth, and the height from the base or tub rim to the ceiling. The 6-piece kit and the SMC kits fit a 36 by 60 inch footprint, and the 3-piece surround fits 40 by 60 inches. If your alcove is a different size, give the team the measurements so they can advise on fit.
- Which base or walk-in tub the panels go over. When panels are ordered together with a tub, they ship with the tub order.
- The edge finish you want. White CNC walls can be made with a 2 inch bend along an exposed edge, but the bend is formed at the factory and must be specified when you order. Printed-design walls are not bent; a trim strip can be requested at order time, or your contractor can fit a white J-molding from a local home improvement store. Details are in How Shower Wall Edges Are Finished: 2-Inch Bends on White CNC Walls and Trim Options.
- Whether you need the 8 inch wide L-shaped filler piece to close a gap between the base and an adjoining wall or fixture. It is plastic, ships with brackets and can be trimmed to size.
- A request for both the product page and the spec sheet, because the spec sheet is a separate document with the drawings your installer needs.
What the Panels Do Not Include
An Ella shower is an open-top enclosure. Ella does not offer a dome, a ceiling panel or a light fixture, so the space above the panels is finished by your bathroom ceiling and any new fixture is added by your electrician, as explained in Does Ella Offer a Dome, Ceiling Panel or Light for Its Showers?. Seating and curtain rod options are available, so ask which accessories fit your base and wall package so everything arrives together for the installer.
