Ella's Bubbles: Intensity Dial Too Tight
Customers can fix a tight or stuck intensity control dial on an Ella walk-in tub by removing excess silicone. This issue may arise from the assembly process and affects all Ella tubs with hydro massage.
If the intensity control dial on an Ella walk-in tub is difficult to turn, it may be due to excess silicone from the assembly process. The video demonstrates how to address this problem, which applies to every Ella walk-in tub model that includes hydro massage.
To fix a stiff intensity control dial, first place protective tape on the tub. Using a straight edge that is not too sharp, remove the dial. Then, simply wipe away any excess silicone from around the ring. Once the excess silicone is cleared, snap the dial back into place.
After this adjustment, the intensity control dial should turn without any difficulty. This simple fix can resolve issues where hydro massage jets feel too strong or too weak because the dial will not turn.
