The 26 by 45 inch compact walk-in tub is the Ella Mobile, and it is ordered with one of five therapy choices: soaking, hydro massage, air plus hydro, hydro plus microbubble, or hydro plus independent foot massage, with LED chromatherapy listed for the dual package and an optional digital touchpad and heated seat and backrest available on top. It comes with the Ella 2-piece fast-fill faucet in chrome or brushed nickel, an end panel, and a left or right door and drain position, and a shower column can be added for an overhead rain shower. The complete model profile is in Ella Mobile 26x45: The Smallest Walk-In Tub, and this page gathers every option in one place and tells you where to find its spec sheet.
The Five Therapy Packages on the Mobile
Every Ella walk-in tub is built to order with a therapy package, and the Mobile follows the same package menu as the rest of the outward-door family. The compact frame changes one thing. Because the pumps and heater sit in the equipment compartment under the seat, the Mobile carries at most two therapy systems. The table lists what each package brings, using only the figures from the Mobile profile and our knowledge system.
| Therapy package | Jets and equipment | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Soaking | No jet system | The seat, low step-in and outward door without a massage system |
| Hydro massage | 15 hydro jets, intensity dial, in-line heater, ozone sterilization | The whirlpool-style water massage, with the water held at the temperature you filled it |
| Air plus hydro | 14 air jets with a three-speed pump and Auto Purge, plus the 15 hydro jets; LED chromatherapy comes with the dual package | Two full massage systems in a 45 inch footprint |
| Hydro plus microbubble | 15 hydro jets plus the microbubble system, which fills the water from a single port | Skin-softening microbubbles added to the water massage |
| Hydro plus independent foot massage | 15 hydro jets plus a separate foot massage system; foot jet count not listed | A foot massage that runs independently of the seat jets |
What the differences mean for you: the hydro package is the heart of the lineup, and every package above soaking is built around its 15 jets, intensity dial, in-line heater and ozone. Air plus hydro is the only Mobile package that pairs two full massage systems, so it is the one to ask for if you want the most therapy in the smallest Ella footprint. The microbubble and independent foot packages each add a different second system in place of air, so on this model you choose one of those pairings rather than stacking all three. The profile lists LED chromatherapy with the dual package, so confirm with your Ella dealer which package on your order includes the light.
The Faucet, Drain and Door That Come Standard
The Mobile includes the Ella 2-piece single-lever fast-fill faucet in chrome or brushed nickel: a solid brass spout with a diverter button, two 3/4 inch by 5 foot supply lines, and a 5-setting hand shower on a 5 foot hose rated 1.9 GPM, with a fill rate designed for 16 GPM. The deck is drilled at the factory for the faucet you choose, with a 2-1/2 inch faucet hole, 1/3 inch rod holes and a 7/8 inch diagonal hand-shower hole. One video mentions a 5-piece option, so confirm the faucet at order time. The first video on this page walks through the Ella faucet choices, including the 2-piece high-flow, the 5-piece high-flow and the thermostatic faucet, and explains that each tub is pulled with your name on it and drilled for the faucet and features you select.
- Drain: one oversized 2 inch drain with an easy-turn opener and an emergency pull chain, not the dual drain found on larger models.
- Door: an outward-swing U-shape door 19 5/8 inches wide with a 19 1/4 inch opening, a 165 degree swing and a 3-latch gear-and-shaft lock, ordered as left or right along with the matching drain position.
- Panels: an end panel is included. No extension panel is offered for this model.
Options You Add at Order Time
Beyond the package, the Mobile's order carries a short list of extras, and all of them are built in at the factory rather than fitted in your bathroom.
- An optional digital touchpad.
- An optional heated seat and backrest.
- A shower column, which can be added for an overhead rain shower.
- The faucet finish, chrome or brushed nickel.
- The door and drain side, left or right.
The second video shows the microbubble system in use: one touch of the micro button generates billions of microbubbles from a single port, the water turns from clear to cloudy, and a second touch turns the system off. That is the system paired with the 15 hydro jets in the hydro plus microbubble package.
What the Compact Frame Rules Out
The Mobile is the smallest tub Ella makes, and a few things follow from that. It carries at most two therapy systems, so if you want microbubble therapy or the independent foot massage on top of air and hydro, the Royal, Monaco and Transfer32 are the smallest models that support three systems. No extension panel is offered, so it suits a 45 inch space or a corner rather than a 60 inch alcove. Its closest compact rival is the Front Entry, which is shorter at 40 inches but needs 32 inches of width, offers air plus hydro, hydro plus microbubble, hydro and soaking, and has no LED light with any package. That makes the Mobile the compact Ella tub that offers both the foot massage pairing and the chromatherapy light, a difference set out in Ella Front Entry vs Mobile: which compact tub fits a tiny bathroom?. The wider compact lineup, including the Flow, the Transfer26 and the Petite, is compared in What is the smallest bathtub size you can buy for a bathroom?.
Where to Find the Spec Sheet, and the Figures It Leaves Out
The Mobile spec sheet is downloaded from the Mobile product page on ellasbubbles.com under Download Specifications. Two lines on it, the water capacity and the weight, are printed as images rather than text, so use the product page for those figures or ask your Ella dealer or the team at (800) 480-6850. If you tell the team which therapy package you are considering, they can send the sheet over and confirm the options for that package. The dimensions you will want next to it are these: 45 inches long with a 38 7/8 inch interior, 26 inches wide, and 39 1/4 inches high, with a 101 degree backrest, a seat 19 to 20 inches wide and 13 inches long, and a step-in of about 3 3/4 inches. For a 25 inch doorway our team names the Mobile as the only option, and only with the door frame removed so the 26 inch shell can pass. Because the door swings outward 165 degrees, leave clear floor in front of the tub. The name refers to the tub's compact size, not to mobile homes alone, though our team does recommend it, along with the Front Entry, for single-wide mobile homes; the floor and entry checks are in Are walk-in tubs a good option for mobile homes?, and the doorway measuring is in Can a walk-in tub fit in a small bathroom, and which models work?.
