while we're talking about competitors bathtubs one thing from my experience in this industry that you need to anticipate uh when you're inviting us and all your competitors and our competitors into your home you need to be aware of what different sales tactics are going to be presented to you the most common theme that i have heard from our customers is that when these sales folks come into your home you're going to be presented with an antiquated 1960 sales mentality of starting really really high and then wiggling your way down and working your way down through negotiations to a price that is still thousands and thousands higher than what our much better quality bathtubs are going to end up costing you a couple of tactics that you should be aware of and anticipate are the phone to the phone call to the sales manager excusing themselves from the table walking outside coming back well i'm able to do this for you today and today only my sales manager says i can offer you several thousand dollars off the project today another hot item and a hot approach is to have a completely fabricated program um call it a checklist going through whatever sort of disability or mobility issues you may be having for instance arthritis back pain hip surgery carpal tunnel checking off the box big surprise but everybody follows nobody ever goes through that checklist and doesn't qualify at the end for the discount so be aware of those things one or two different bathtub models salesmen that are going through all sorts of negotiation and high pressure tactics if you see any of those different red flags my recommendation for you is to don't sign up with that particular company keep shopping around contact ls find a dealer in your area and make sure you get in touch with us before you sign up for a product that you're not ultimately going to be satisfied with
