The Ella HomeCare Transfer Bathtub is designed for individuals with mobility needs who require assistance getting in and out of the tub
, allowing a caregiver to safely assist the bather into the tub without lowering to the floor. The water temperature is preset using a thermostatic valve control, allowing the caregiver to adjust it to the desired level, with a suggested maximum temperature of 104°F to ensure safety. Once the temperature is set and the water tank is filled, the caregiver can assist the bather in transferring into the tub. After the bathtub door is securely closed and locked, the fast-fill water pump can be activated via the digital controller’s on/off button, filling the tub in under 2 minutes. The hand shower, mounted on a 24” slider, provides convenience for the caregiver to shower the bather. The Fast Fill Hydro Option is designed to speed up the filling process further, and should only be used once per session, prior to the bathtub being fully filled. An oversized 2” drain with a pull-up emergency chain keeps wait time short when refilling or exiting the tub.
