The Ella HomeCare is a bathtub designed specifically for wheelchair users and requires a caregiver’s assistance for transfers. The tub floor sits level with a standard wheelchair seat, allowing a smooth, convenient side-to-side transfer without lifting or stepping over a high tub wall. The bather rolls the wheelchair up to the tub and, with the caregiver’s help, moves directly into the bathtub. The caregiver then moves the wheelchair aside and closes and locks the door.

A unique feature of the Ella HomeCare is its built-in water tank, located beneath the tub. The tank is filled before the bather enters, and a thermostatic control valve lets you set a safe, comfortable water temperature in advance. Once the bather is seated, simply press the control button and a hydro pump transfers the pre-filled water from the tank into the tub in approximately two minutes. This eliminates the usual wait for the tub to fill, so the bather can lie back comfortably and enjoy a relaxing bath with hydromassage almost immediately.

Wall-Mount Faucet (Sold Separately)

A wall-mount faucet is not included with the tub and must be purchased and installed by the customer. It serves as an additional water supply for topping up the tub, and a hand mixer provides a convenient showering option.
